  • That's weird! I go on Lemmy daily and it's been feeling a lot busier IMO.

  • He totally is! I've noticed Blaze's posts a bunch -well assuming he goes by the same name lol. He's doing a great job at shepherding and getting the info out there. @Blaze@sopuli.xyz

Also I took a peek at some of threads discussing the paywalls and noticed there seems to be increased awareness about Lemmy, dare I say interest😆

  • Nice pic! I try to take pics of spiders (for my iNaturalist), but they're so dang tiny and it always comes out blurry. xD

  • I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics for the first time. I hear it's the best or so in it's genre. Can't wait!

  • Oh. I didn't realize I was subscribed to lemmy.ml. Let me migrate outta here

  • It's bad. I remember reading how scientists are rushing to preserve coral samples now and hopefully regrow them at a later time.

  • I think the French maid is kind of a sexual fetish (not sure why it's specifically the French maid lol) so the guys like it. Plus it's a cute outfit (look up lolita fashion) so the girls like it.

  • Nah, unless there's some type emergency going on, you don't have to worry about anyone but your assigned patients. Management can't write you up for not catering to patients who aren't under your care. If management complains, first of all it's ridiculous, and second - it's all talk. They don't have shit. Direct other patients to their assigned nurse.

I don't like being that person ("you'll have to talk with your nurse"), but some workplaces require it due to lack of fairness and teamwork. Otherwise you get taken advantage of. So don't feel bad.

And if management gives you shit and starts targeting you, talk to your union. Always have a paper trail. Or if no union, look elsewhere for better bosses to work for.

  • That looks tasty! (Dw I don't eat strange mushrooms xD)

  • I like Bo! Short for Bo Peep too

  • I'm sad for the ecosystem and for the pink dolphins. They've been dying in startling numbers due to increasing temperatures and drought. I'm glad I got to see them in person during a trip to the Amazon. But it was saddening just thinking there's a good chance they'll become functionally extinct within my lifetime.

  • A difficult music passage. Sometimes you gotta take a break and revisit.

    Same for video games lol

  • Reactions and side effects are dependent on the person. I'm healthy so I don't typically take medications but this was my experience on Strattera, which you're supposed to take with food. That warning was no joke. I had to take it with a meal, because I'd risk feeling queasy with only a snack. But at low doses, it was fine. Very manageable.

As my dose was increased, the nausea started becoming constant. I couldn't do anything to relieve it. At one point I was at a restaurant and had to go throw up in the restroom. After that I decided to stop taking Strattera, because the nausea made for a miserable experience and was not worth it at all. I was instantly better once I stopped.

  • Every day this country is heading towards a fucking civil war
