  • This clip really took on a different light when it came out that he had a track record of getting young comics into his hotel room, getting them extremely intoxicated, cornering them, and masturbating on them.

  • Currently, the RNC doesn't want Trump but can't stop him and the DNC seems to want to lose.

You highlight a key point: Any viable candidate in moderate history has been squashed by the DNC, and that is a problem.

I dont have an answer. I have, at best, 4 names that would stomp Biden if we weren't, as Americans, bound and determined to vote for evil, aka lesser evil, aka RNC or DNC.

Sure as shit though, I won't vote for anyone who is Pro-genocide.

  • Erm... yes?

Not sure about how you ended it in the fentynal laced Kool aid "Two evils" rhetoric, but...

In my opinion, Biden, Bernie, Katie Porter, and Ro Khanna should be about 3 primary debates deep, and the latter 3 would be slaughtering the former.

Biden would have been DESTROYED in those debates.

Then liberal Democrats would have someone to vote for, but progressive Democrats would not get genocide kickbacks, so they just squashed that entire process.

That would suggest the latter should be running independent or pushing write in campaigns, like Biden did in Vermont and Trump is doing all over.

They aren't though, because American democracy is a lie and we are being forced to vote for genocide, and in such an election, RNC voters will turn out and disenfranchised DNC voters will not.

  • This sounds about right, as, if we look at Biden's election, slightly less than a third voted Biden, a little bit less than that voted Trump, and a little more than a third abstained from voting.

To he fair, a fraction of a percent voted 3rd party. I attribute this to:

    1. Noone is actually stepping up to a third party/RNC and DNC have gotten REALLY good at curbstomping strong third party candidates, accelerated by Citizens United.
    2. FAR too many Americans are still drinking the "a vote that is not for my red/blue tyrant is a vote for the red/blue tyrant that I am not voting for" Kool aid, which Is frankly complete horseshit.
  • I will give you this.

An admittedly hot take, but I would guess that a lot of people who would be LOUDLY outraged are currently stuck in the fear cycle that the DNC is stoking about Trump, so they are remaining ignorant, equal parts willfully and not, because "Trump must be stopped at all costs so Biden must not be questioned."

For the record, hate Trump. PLEASE don't come at me with the tired "a vote not cast for Biden is a vote cast for Trump!!!" argument. It's a stupid pro-genocide argument that rejects the foundational concepts of democracy and keeps America in this viscous cycle of inevitable descent into complete fascism.

I am against genocide in all forms, and both the RNC and the DNC are pro-genocide. That means Trump and Biden are both pro-genocide.

  • Yes. Israel is conducting a brutal genocide and America is using the opportunity to launder money from the public trust to military contractors by giving "aid packages" to Israel, and then using outdated "emergency powers" from the Iraq war to bypass Congress broker arms deals.

    This is all common knowledge.

Half the country is for the genocide of all brown people.

    Half the country is outraged.

The entirety of the Federal government is solely focused on enriching military contractors so they can get kickbacks and campaign donos.

This is all painfully common knowledge.

  • I hate these kinds of comments.

They said absolutely nothing of the sort.

Taking someone's valid point and then accusing them of some outlandish thing, completely fabricated by you, on the extreme other side of the spectrum of the context is just a stupid way of interacting with others.

It really just betrays how childish you are and how horribly distorted your world view/psychological condition in general is.

  • In the example of 9/11, there were MOUNTAINS of video footage, news articles, and documents stored in a large array of community archives that started as community efforts to find Osama Bin Laden and as it dawned on all of us, slowly morphed into trying to put together a solid fully documented and supported narrative of what actually occurred on that day.

Community leaders disappeared under mysterious circumstances and then all of those digital archives disappeared.

People who were in those communities and helped to compile those archives saw it with their own 2 eyes and remember what was discovered.

People who were not in those communities don't believe they ever existed.

Edit: Looking at these comments, its just precious.

Question "If the government is hiding information, how did you guys have this information."

"I am older than you, or was more aware than you, and I saw the information before the government hid it and turned a historical record into a conspiracy theory."

"ANOTHER PERSON CONVENIENTLY SAYING THERE WAS INFORMATION AND NOW THERE ISN'T!!! DON'T LISTEN!!!"

Basically the prompt is "explain to me what makes a conspiracy theory", and the comments are saying "IT'S A CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!" in response to people sharing what makes a conspiracy theory...

  • While I agree with the sentiment, I don't know that a lawyer is going to help.

At will states need to repeal that legislation, but until they do, they are at will states.

Or maybe I am seamlessly substituting "at will" for "right to work" and OP is not in a "right to work" state.

  • Shit man. 15 years ago, I worked at Home Depot as a cashier and answered to a Head Cashier who had failed to get into police academy for 5 years running.

When that asshat wasn't in the store, life was good. We did our job, we found non-confrontational ways to send scammers packing.

When asshat was in store, it was always some big dramatic deal.

The second he got a whiff of someone trying to pass a bad check, or use a credit card balance transfer check like it was a regular check, or do a "but I have store credit!" scam, the only answer was to stall the person until the cops arrived.

2 separate times, this asshat caused a gun to be drawn on me because I was expressly forbidden from letting the person leave, "just stall them!", while he hid behind a wall on the line with police.

    How times have changed.

Sorry OP, sounds like your corporation didn't like your 20 years of merit raises and just wanted an excuse for you to be gone.

Fuck em. You'll make it through this.
