A client forecasts a needed item number, then they submit a Purchase Order, a Sales Order is made for the Purchase Order, A Work Order is made for the Sales Order, the item number is manufactured, the Work Order is closed, the item number is delivered to the client, the Sales Order is closed, an invoice is generated, the invoice is paid, the PO gets closed. Unless you're ASML, in which case, there is a d12 roll to decide if its gets closed or if you just leave it there forever.
They absolutely refuse to close out about half of their POs, they just leave them in final fulfilled status, but never close them. Makes it a nightmare to try and maintain a clean "Open PO" data feed.
Spent a year trying to get them to just close the POs. Got run around half the world. No results.
They also have this habit of getting people to accept orders directly through email via excel spreadsheets instead of submitting proper POs.
This leads to different segments of the company flying blind and constantly clashing with eachother when trying to set global demand drives.
They also use Ariba as their vendor portal, which if you have ever tried to do a deep dive into ANID number relationship management, you know that Ariba requires extensive collaboration on both Vendor and Client side to keep the framework from becoming a knotted mess.
They don't have any particularly present Ariba collaboration.
All in all, in my current position, I have dealt with ASML and many of their competitors. LAM is by far the nicest to work with. ASML has been one of the most frustrating to work with while getting the least accomplished.
I don't want an HOA at all, let alone pay what SHOULD be the entirety of a monthly payment to them, on top of a mortgage that is going to be 3 times as much as the HOA fee.
In general, I like where I live. However, when I moved here about 5 years ago, it was a peaceful quiet area. my back yard was a couple acres of minimally touched nature (little cluster of trees, massive green field of mice, spiders, gophers, grasshoppers, and the occasional deer).
I loved it. Then the city decided to turn half of that field into a community center whose entire side facing my house was glass, leaving me to feel like a zoo exhibit.
That wasn't good enough though.
The city claimed the remainder of the field, bulldozed and chemically treated it, and put in annex parking for the community center right up against my fence. Mind you, my backyard is TINY. Maybe 40x20 ft. Slightly more than you would expect from an apartment. They literally paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
In between the annex parking and the community center, they put in a playground. Now my once peaceful, zen, soul charging slice of heaven is constant mobs of screeching children and idling cars during the day and rotating groups of 16-23 year olds drinking, doing drugs, selling drugs, and all around loudly and aggressively delinquenting by night.
If I could, I would just like to live somewhere quiet and private again.

Or, instead of being a voice shilling for Biden and the DNC, be a voice to encourage individuals who are not affiliated with the DNC nor the RNC to go for it and be the solution.

Personally, I want a Democrat party worth voting for. If they could be worth voting for again, that would be SO nice. I dont believe they CAN do that though. So while I willingly offer the 5 democrats that sould have taken the 2023-2024 primaries (Bernie, AOC, Katie Porter, Ro Khanna, Rashida Tlaib), I need to call for third party to become a viable option, because I WILL NOT vote for Biden again.
