That's not over cautious. This will happen soon. I think most Americans (see: white) are relatively safe right now, but immigrants (authorized or not) are clearly targets that they are attacking right now. Get ready to protect your family now.

Yeah I think I would fall in that group that has concerns of personal freedoms here. The state shouldn't be telling people what they can wear unless there's a tangible risk to public safety and a headscarf absolutely does not meet that criteria. No one should be forced to wear one, and no one should be prevented from wearing one. If the concern is that people are being indoctrinated into violent extremist groups, there are plenty of other ways to fight that outside of restricting someone's clothing.

And this is why I'm skeptical of all the "we need nuclear power" people. It's always "safe" until you account for the fact that some corporation is the one trusted to follow the safety standards that would actually make it a safe endeavor.
