  • We had carpeted stairs down to the basement. We would tuck our pants into our socks and butt slide down it.later we would land into a beanbag chair. Then we just started jumping into the beanbag chair. Tended to ruin those chairs pretty quickly, but we had fun and stayed out of Mom's hair so...

  • You have to build a training plan for fresh. Measure at the macro, not micro.

    Did the important things get done over the year? Great.

    Coach for impact, end to end problem ownership, initiative, efficient communication, follow and follow through.

    Delegate mentoring to those who you see as good examples. Credit the mentors for excellence in mentoring. Credit the rookies for improvement.

    Espresso is good but how about a little sweetener...tried a few things landed on not just brown sugar but dark brown sugar. Mocha is good so let's try chocolate powder too, dialed it in. Vanilla is nice with both brown sugar and chocolate let's at that too.

    I might try a sprinkle of powdered salt on top next

  • The best prep is knowledge and understanding because that isn't so easy to take away.

    Storing purified water is nice. Knowing how to purify water is better.

    Having fish vs. Knowing how to get fish.

    Next step? Thriving>surviving. Truly understand that thriving takes a village. People skills matter. If every other human is the enemy then you are clearly outnumbered.
