  • Problem is there's a ton of legitimate VoIP. My brother had a VoIP home phone for years because it costs next to nothing. Police can't just not go to a call because it's a VoIP call.

  • Just to highlight WW84, he was really good in what was otherwise a terrible movie. He also had a killer episode of SNL and was able to save a single sketch on the abomination that was the Bad Bunny hosted SNL episode. He was a delight on the Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.

  • They're already practicing swift code so they have a Mac, probably an iPhone too if that's the dev they're looking for. The dev licence is not that expensive.

  • August 1st, nice break!

  • Wow, didn't know this was still a thing. Used to love Soulseek back in 2004.

  • Get a load of this guy, just walking around all aimless

  • I loved this game too but I was never able to finish it. The game kept getting incrementally slower as I progressed like it was having trouble processing everything. Happened on both my Switch and Xbox Series X. Hopefully the PC version is better.

  • Because he's one of the few devs with true name recognition. All video game awards shows have always been chasing the Oscars but the film industry is full of massive celebrities. Not just stars but directors and even some writers and producers.

So Kojima has that. Plus his work always shows well. It's usually something unique and cinematic.

  • My chart shows an emphasis on zombies and typing. I don't know how to interpret that other than we need a new Typing of the Dead.

  • Can someone ELI5 here. So Lemmy.world is a Reddit like site, Threads is a Twitter like site. What does it mean when they're federated?

  • This sub is so weird. When someone posts an actual unpopular opinion it's clearly getting downvoted because this has a vote score of just 5 with over 60 comments. What are we looking for here?

  • Exactly. After the @ they should just confirm there's at least one period. The rest is pretty much up in the air.
