  • I'm at 60tb and I'm still eyeing up sales on 16tb drives. I've got a media hoarding problem but if the internet goes completely down y'all can come to my place for a movie night.

  • Ah, OK

    Jump
  • Ubi also needs to just kill Beyond Good and Evil 2 at this point. There's no way anything good can come from a project with 17 years of development and nothing really to show for it.

  • Speaking as someone who grew up in an Irish Catholic house it still blows my mind a huge building full of people went up and drank out of the same cup.

Did this all change after covid?

  • That car in the back looks tippy as fuck, like slamming the breaks would smash the front bumper on the ground

  • Mr Ai

  • Yes but I individually choose what goes in there it's not the fire hose of data that is everything I browse

  • George Clooney liked the show so much he wanted to be on the show but they rejected his request initially since they don't let famous people play themselves. They in turn offered him the non-speaking role of Stan's gay dog. Clooney showed up and gave a full performance of barks.

  • I've got Google One for the storage but there was no way I wanted all my internet activity routed through the Google servers

  • Joe Biden gay bus home sounds like a dope party

  • It's known as shrinkflation. Companies want to make more money. Simply asking the customer for more money is hard because we're all well aware of the price we've been paying for something, plus they have to sit on a shelf next to a competitor who might not have raised their price. So instead most products will reduce what you get instead.

  • Just a heads up, there's a good review on the steam page that breaks it down a bit and it seems this is less a free game and very much a F2P game with a battle pass and expensive currency.

  • If I can give Apple credit for one thing is they keep their primary OS pretty free of ads and junkware. Like when I open my Apple TV it's just a grid of apps vs my Google TV which has a huge ad for a show on a streaming network you might not even subscribe to. Now what companies do inside their apps is a different story of course.

  • I don't have actual stats on this but I'm fairly certain I've put more hours into Slay the Spire than any other game in my life across its various platforms. Pretty psyched for this one

  • Lol, who is this opinion unpopular with aside from maybe the handful of people who actually won it.

  • It's not just a hole, you need to reserve the space to house the inserted jack, you need to source or build the housing and build something to convert the signal to digital. That costs money and space for a feature hardly anyone uses. These resources are simply better used elsewhere.

  • If you buy crappy headphones they might crap out every year. I've got the same pair of Jabra 65t that I bought in 2018 and they work amazing 6 years later. If Apple or Samsung or Google forced you to use their buds I'd agree with your position of being forced but they don't and saying all buds die in a year is absurd.

  • Yes you can: https://a.co/d/dvX8HjP

That's the beauty of usb, it's capable of expanding to suit your needs

Simply put, if companies determined the market need for 3.5mm port was valuable enough they'd leave it on there. They want to sell product and 3.5mm is not a feature enough customers care about to justify it's existence. If you really want it, you have USB options or some phone models that support it: https://www.phonearena.com/news/Best-phones-with-a-headphone-jack-Google-Pixel-Samsung-Galaxy-LG-and-more_id124459
