I can't deal with the heat either. On a day like today, I'd be wearing trackies and a hoodie on a walk. If it's sunny and over 12°, I'd probably rock shorts. My legs don't really get cold that much.
We do with surprise gifts. My wife a cool set of PJs for me recently and got them. I reciprocated with a nicer set for her. Pretty much told her no more sleepwear for the time being. At risk of getting pricey and silky
I think I figured out why I'm not enjoying my new role.
The people are nerds, but not in a good way. They're the nerds that were teacher pleasing brown-nosers who would throw anyone and everyone under a bus to get an inch ahead.
There's also people who are very quick to make their problems our problems. Sound like communism to me 😁
I've also noticed that I can ignore emails and people eventually leave me along.
I'm not sure. I don't eat that much bread generally. If anything it'll be sourdough, but really that's like two maybe four slices per week.
I make pizza dough with yeast, but again, once a week..and didn't have any this week.
The meds are kicking in, so it's a bit better. Generally I can get it under control in like 3-4 days. Going to my GP tomorrow for something stronger hopefully. The stuff I have, works, but just barely.
Not gonna lie, next to sciatica, it's the worst type of pain/discomfort I've experienced. Who knew a single toe can mess you up so badly.
It does feel random. Not a huge red meat eater, haven't had red wine in over a year. I did drink some very yeasty beer last weekend, so perhaps that did it. Come to think of it, my last flare up was 18 months ago, after drinking similar beer.
I remember the smoking ban coming into effect and all you could smell in pubs and bars was stale beer and BO.
It's better now, but the first few months before shit aired out were gnarly.
