  • Like it or not, Apple is the trend setter. Everybody feels like they need to do what Apple does. So given that, Apple kills PWAs, everyone else will surely follow.

That's normally how it goes anyway.

  • Of these, I can recommend Proxmox. Its a decent learning curve coming from VMware, but once you learn the interface you'll be able to configure things much like you would in Vsphere/ESXi.

I recently started using the Proxmox Backup Server as well, and its pretty amazing. I got myself a super cheap VPS with 400gb storage, setup wireguard and installed the backup server. You just point Proxmox directly to it and it'll do encrypted backups, scheduling, and easily keep any number of versions of your backups.

  • I'm actually kind of surprised that they're all working together at all. Normally they all wanna have it done their own way and it ends up just being another random project, that everybody loves until the next person creates another project because they want it done another way.

  • Yep, Remmina is awesome. I wish I had it at work.

  • Sometimes the people that need the most help, don't even realize it. Keep fighting the good fight.

  • What's wrong? You've barely touched your smallpox plague.

  • Please arrange a professional clean prior to vacating or we will arrange our own and the cost will be forwarded to you. Thanks.

  • Its working now. Strange. Ah well, very cool.

  • I'm on Firefox on android and it doesn't seem to work :(

  • I've been using my install script for so long, I've forgotten that single click was the default. I guess that's at least one extra line I can remove.

  • Update: Valuation now only at $50k.

  • 225kg is world record levels. Very few people can do that.

  • This should be the new isEven()/isOdd(). Calculate the speed of the CPU and use that to determine how long it might take to achieve a 'sleep' of a required time.

  • So what they're saying is they could get all that extra revenue if they lower their price and just undercut the competition?

  • Sweet, that'll be a good one for Linux/Steam Deck

  • For sure. It's something I've considered for a while simply because I don't need that extra heat/noise created by the GPU when I'm only doing my day job.

  • Hmm, that doesn't sound great. Can I ask what laptop you were using and which distro?
