  • I won't read what you wrote. My mind is closed and my opinion is rock solid. I will die with a frieless shawarma on my chest and nobody will convince me otherwise.

    You might have put a lot of effort in your comment, which I can appreciate. Unfortunately, you have met an immovable object.

  • You know what happens when you use too much AI? Some important skills atrophy, and when you need to do the more complex job that the AI can't do, it will be even harder to do the more complex thing, because you've lost some base skills you rely on.

  • But other businesses only have distributions centers in the US. So they import to US, pay tarrifs, and then I can buy from them in Europe, so indirectly I also paid the tarrifs. Even though product was made in China and I live in Europe.

  • Apple already has an entity in Ireland which is the one that has most of the money. Google as well. When I pay my Google cloud bills, I don't pay the us business, but a separate EU incorporated business. So I think, if apple sells to Europe, none of the iPhones or iPhone parts have to go through the US or pay any tarrifs.

  • Ubuntu is ok. That's it. Let them get on with their life. An OS is a tool that shouldn't get in the way of the user of trying to achieve a goal. If Ubuntu works for them, Ubuntu is good. Linux has to be a solution, a way to a goal not the actual goal.
