Not you you, you as in her (or anyone else who would). And I've known of her from when her works first popped up on HackADay, before China was clamping down on Uyghurs, before she went into the extreme body modding, etc. I've disliked her longer than the majority of you known she even existed.

Opened dialogue, genuinely listened to pirates, and took steps to make his products more appealing and less hostile (eg removed all DRM in a time when everything was super DRM ).

Kbin already integrates Mastodon. It’s seamless enough that I find myself commenting on people’s toots without even realising.

So disappointed by this game, it’s like the first 10 minutes of a tutorial mission level in a city builder, looped over and over.

Imagine games like Caesar or Anno but you’re just doing lame quests like “gather 20 resources and spend them at this empty spot, you win next mission”

Nah, the Fungiverse is part of the HFY (Humanity, Fuck Yeah) sub-genre of writing. It's an authors works, and I've semi-enjoyed some of their stories in the past. I'd say the story parts are meant to be viewed in similar lens to The Culture from Ian M. Banks series.

It's odd that the site mixes stories in some posts, with op. ed. pieces like this in others but eh I guess that's the 'artsy/ziney' feel.

I'd say there's something wrong with these workers of our legal system, clandestinely meeting together to harass workers for holding political views and terrorising public institutions to conform to their views.
