  • I've (recently) stopped shaving entirely, but I use my trimmers to to a quick hackjob on the area I used to manually shave. so my facial hair care routine is about 5 minutes every 2 weeks or so, plus maybe 5 minutes a month to buzz my head. can't believe I used to spend that much time every couple of days to look like shit. now I still look like shit but have a few more minutes

  • it did, basically in Australia content owners are free to demand restitution for the actual loss suffered (ie the cost of a dvd) and if you ignore them, they are free to take you to small claims court over it, wearing the cost of doing so. so it essentially ended copy claims

  • its relieving to hear others didn't like the book because everytime it gets brought up you usually see nothing but gushing praise bordering on fanaticism. I liked the concepts behind them but really didn't enjoy reading them at all

  • the most unbelievable part is cubicles, no real corporations will provide that much privacy and instead force you to work open plan on a row of desks next to a random other person from another team who was also forced in for no reason

  • I buy physical and obtain a digital copy later to chuck on the kindle. I enjoy reading physical books but time and life make it harder, plus I like to buy collectors editions where possible, they are not for reading (to me)

  • had the same issue. built a new pc and was able to access it fine, just gotta be careful not to use reddit on any device my old account was present on.

the funny thing is, I'm not even using a VPN or doing anything to mask my identity. it seems to be purely hardware recognition
