I've had at least one dream where I used my phone to message a friend something (which is something I do every day). I can't recall any other specific times, but I feel like I've seen it a few times.
It's rare, but as a long-haired (cis) male, someone might refer to me as ma'am or miss. It hasn't happened since I worked retail 7 or 8 years ago.
Admittedly, I don't have many trans folks in my life to refer to. If I see someone and their gender is ambiguous, I default to they/them pronouns. I don't think I've ever offended anyone from misgendering them. I try to respect people and their identities. Hell, I don't even like misgendering dogs 😅
In middle school, I had an incident where a kid a grade above me (he was held back, so he should've been a high schooler by this point and was HUGE) began to mess with me, unprompted, at the end of the day.
He stepped on my shoes as we walked, poked me, called me names, etc. When I turned around and called him a bitch and kept walking, he sucker punched me and ran. It was so bad I ended up in the emergency room with stitches.
Anyways, my parents were called and they threatened legal action. The school begged them not to, because they were "going to take care of it, we promise." Once we found out he was only suspended for a week, my parents got all the info they needed to press charges for assault. He ended up in juvie.
Looking back, it's a shame he ended up "in the system," but that's what he gets for being a bitch. Lol
I think Uncle Ben from Urban Rescue Ranch is worthy of the list. He's an animal rehabber from Waco, TX who spent years turning a crack house, needle-filled property into a beautiful animal rehabilitation center. He frequently updates his YouTube channel with his day-to-day life, and the animals he has are fun (capybaras, kangaroos, rheas, etc.). He genuinely loves animals and loves his work and I've learned a lot from his channel.
No more gymnastics (rhythmic or otherwise). No more figure skating and ice dancing. No more skateboarding. No more surfing. No more synchronized swimming. No more freestyle skiing. No more diving. No more BMX. No more ANYTHING that requires judging.
These are sports. They require judging, sure, but they also require significant human skill, strength, and talent to execute properly. Skateboarding for example requires balance, coordination, and leg strength, and Olympic Skateboarding requires you to be the best at those things (usually, anyway).
I anticipate switching to a full Linux setup once I build my new PC, hopefully later this year. I can't see myself even unwillingly buyingpirating buying Windows.
I don't mean to start an argument about it, but hating Nazis and hating Israel are not mutually exclusive. Hating Israel is antizionism, not antisemitism.
Last year I got really into freshwater aquarium keeping as a hobby. So I find myself buying little plants, decor, tools, etc for my aquariums (of which I have 5 now...). It's fun, a bit expensive but it's therapeutic.
The Mastodon instance I'm on (wetdry.world) has HUNDREDS of users. Don't use an instance like mastodon.social and you'll have a better time.
