  • ...Guess I'm from Queensland, New York now.

  • Unfortunately, somebody thought it was a good idea to edit the entire movie like the trailer...

    Also, Jared Leto(🤮).

  • Suspiciously named user, I literally plug all of my movies on this social media platform. Except the first Suicide Squad. And Terminal.

Also, that's esteemed Academy Award nominated character actress Margot Robbie to you!

  • Future Oscar winning movie Barbie is the only permitted commercial interest on Lemmy.

  • Unlike Vogue, Teen Vogue has been pretty political ever since one of their writers (Lauren Duca, who is pretty cool) argued with Tucker Carlson on his show in 2016.

It is, surprisingly, one of the better publications to get news and commentary from nowadays, because nobody really expect it.

  • Everyday is a holiday when you are on Lemmy!

... I really should drink less.

  • I was also 100% off for the Wolf of Wall Street.

    Just saying.

  • Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

  • You are suppose to post about future Oscar winning movie, Barbie, silly!

  • Stardew Valley, Rune Factory 4, Friends of Mineral Town, and that's pretty much it.

  • Thanks! Also, you should have seen me when I was promoting Barbie here in July.

  • Considered the following:

The slices of cheese are analogous to each of our individual lives: it's boring, manufactured, and there is a wrap of plastic which define us as individuals but keeps separate from one another. The only good aspect of American cheese is that it is designed for melting, so in essence, by removing the plastic barrier that keeps us separated, we, like the humble slices of American cheese, can melt and become part of something greater than our individual selves (like a burger or a grilled cheese).

Or as Karl Marx once said: Life is plastic, it's fantastic.

  • But the next two movies are better. :)

  • It would be more interesting if one of these have swappable internal batteries, so it would be more of a portable battery pack that you can use as a phone in a pitch than the other way around.

  • I play farming games on emulators on my phone usually.

But when I'm too stressed or tired, I don't really have the energy to play games, just lay on my bed, put something on in the background, and sleep.

  • Not exactly surprised here. Every time I've seen him on the news, it's always him fearmongering about the dangers of generative AI, when ChatGPT is burning through money and seemed to become more and more restrictive with every iteration. You can't run an organization if it is built on top of lies.

Actually open models (not open source, sadly) like specialized LLaMa 2 derivatives that could be ran and fine-tuned locally seems to be the future, because there seems to be a diminishing return in training/inference power to usefulness, and specialized smaller model tuned for specific applications are much more flexible than a giant general one that can only be used on somebody else's machine.

  • Lemmy is pretty good for news.

Try using your Lemmy app on fanaticus.social, they have a bot that posts live sport scores, but I've only seen American football there.

  • At this point, if anybody asks, I never had a Twitter account. It's way too embarrassing to admit otherwise.

No normal public figure/organization would ever to be associated with this disgusting behavior, but this is the inevitable results engagement centric personalized algorithm, as conflicts create the highest amount of user engagement for the platform.

Most public organizations/figures should really think about running federated social media accounts on their own server, because having control over the server is the only way to 100% ensure your freedom of association online.
