Exactly! My comment above was in reference to Breaking Bad (not something in theaters). I'm watching this thru probably for the fifth time but the really quiet skyler and walt whispering dialogue (crank to 32 to hear) takes time so i missed part of it.
Volume averages at 10 in my living room. Then have to be johnny on the spot and hope that 32 gets back to 10 before the whispering is over.
And good help you if you're watching subtitles because the volume indicator appears right over them.
I read somewhere there's a reason for that. The smoke actually does follow you around. I get it at my house burning incense. I even keep a fan to push smoke offof me but it still finds me.
I was gripping about this last night. Actors practically whispering. Had to move to headphones.
Many times i wonder why the industry can't seem to properly mic the scene or pick a decent cohesive/compatible decimal range.
Ignore this "you're asking in the wrong place" response.
Others have been experiencing this too. It appears to have no real affect on your subscription status. I have a few like that as well. They still behave as if they are successfully subscribed.
Pfft. This dude. It's like this guy's where you google something to find the answer, arrive at a prospective link and "omg why are you asking, go Google it".
Lol i love it. Sounds like my kind of work place.
I have to really hold back the laughter on our annual training because the situations and actors/actresses are so funny.
We do video training on our computers where we watch little scenarios on video clips.
If you're not aquatinted with distrowatch yet, you should pop on there. It gives overviews of many distros. Asking for recommendations is fine too, but DW is a great resource.
On an older machine that needed something light, Sparky Linux was fun. I didn't use it for it's particular bundling but still felt smooth and solid. I'm assuming you want lightweight since you mentioned a destroyed laptop? There's things like Puppy Linux but that feels almost too light to me and maybe didn't feel finished to me either.
Normally Id just straight up suggest Mint but you said you didn't want that.
Screen grab if you can. GIMP of there's water marks. I mean if you really really want the pic.
