I need to fly from NJ to California in a few months. Economy tickets are around $275. I'd like a bit of extra legroom for the long flight, so I check out Economy plus. Economy plus tickets are $800. What in the actual fuck is this? It's not first class. I get no added benefits other than a few inches of extra leg room.

OpenAI should not be held back from subscribing to a research publication, or buying college textbooks, etc. As long as the original works are not reproduced and the underlying concepts are applied, there are no intellectual property issues. You can't even say the commercial application of the text is the issue, because I can go to school and use my knowledge to start a company.

I understand that in some select scenarios, ChatGPT has been tricked into outputting training data. Seems to me they should focus on fixing that, as it would avoid IP issues moving forward.

I honestly work at a company that would fit most ideals for the average anti-work/work-reform subscriber.

That's a weird take. The shopping part is provided to you for free for your convenience. Not returning the shopping cart means you are creating a nuisance for other people who are coming to the store to get the things that they need. It is blocking parking spots, potentially going to damage somebody's car, and no longer in a centralized location.

I was at Home Depot trying to get a gas powered hedge trimmer. I have almost an acre of property, and there are tons and tons of bushes around the house.

Salesman says I should buy electric. I tell him yes, but I'd have to buy another battery or two just so I can do all the work in one day. Which makes it significantly more expensive than gas.

"Ah that's the thing. You just replace everything with electric, and you get a battery with each device!"

Okay, so, what if I want to cut the grass, do the edging, and trim the hedges in one day? I understand the need to switch to electric and reduce emissions. But the number of towns banning gas powered lawn care equipment is just ignoring the obvious. Electric is simply not practical for anyone with a remotely large property.

It's worse than you think. As an advertiser, I can actually buy targeted product placements in shows. So, let's say I'm Google, and I know you recently searched for a Google Pixel. If I pay for product placements in the next Prime show, I can get all the phones to be Pixels when you watch it.

But if your friend searched for an iPhone, and he gets targeted by apple, the phones in the show could be iPhones.

I had a car with push button start and a CVT. After putting the first 50 miles on the car, the brake light switch died. Nissan, in their ultimate wisdom, used the brake light switch to tell the computer if you are pressing the brake when starting the car. Well, no brake light switch, no starting the engine. Had to get it towed back to the dealership to get fixed.

Honestly, can just be a different form of therapy. Worked with one in conjunction with a therapist through a service provided by my medical insurance.

I work with many many brands. I have seen several turn off their DTC channels because customer acquisition costs are simply too high.

The competitive price match policy is a nuisance when retailers liquidate inventory for pennies in the dollar.
