installing some random kernel that has the modules waydroid needs
watching what gpu you have, which changes the instructions a little
and even than its pure luck if waydroid even manages to use these binders
"The problem is Bluestacks has not been developed for Linux so some users are thinking what is the system they should adopt to emulate Android applications on Linux.
Fortunately an alternative exists if you need a system that can do that, now we will give you the keys to install something equivalent to BlueStacks that works correctly. Genymotion"
i would call this unpopular in the linux community, if it isnt, i apologize in advance
Linux, foss and their "fight for privacy" is not a fight, we are simply being tolerated by the companys who actually hold all the money and power, dont kid yourself into thinking you are making a difference
these companys have put up cages all around us so large we are effectively in one already and if they truly wanted to, they could whatever data from you they want
so stop making people feel bad if they dont use either or dont care about something like it
i have been using linux for a couple of years now
im very much not your average terminal agnostic user
yet, to this day, the arch docs to install it are a mess that need such extensive knowledge that gaining that knowledge takes about as much time if not easily more than actually installing arch
if you like to install arch yourself? great, good for you, but pelase dont pretend that it isnt a painful process that can take so much logner than it actually needs to
i tried it exactly once to install, gave up 30 mintues in cause it was a nightmare to even understand
base arch that isnt a distro from it
the forums are elitist tot he point you should never bother
the install instructions (before the installer they added only reluctantly) need a phd to understand
its running on the worst parts of the KISS principle, its not simple to use, or simple to get around, it simply refuses to add any bells and whistles to make it easier to use
use endeavouros, arco, archlabs, reborn or any number of arch based distros, that way you get the aur, the good part of it
well, the fact you can code is better thna a whole lot of folk if you ask me
