I use a combination of NextDNS and PiHole to block them out, at least on my TV box. Haven't verified on my phone. So it's effectively the ad free tier, but sometimes takes some readjusting
Most of the WISP systems I work with max out at 30 Mbps, but it's also older tech. In Rochester though there really are better options so that's kinda insane that any one would be using that, it isn't typicalky cheaper than cable at the very least.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like for the most part, at least for big decisions, the corporation answers to the foundation which is more of a commitee anyway. Maybe they're kept more separate than that, but that's the impression that I got.
Are you referring to the foundation president Mark Surman or the corporation CEO Laura Chambers? She seems to be an interim position holder, so I guess whatcha referring to?
I mentioned this in a different post but I use both my password manager with totp as well as a YubiKey as authentication methods as I always have either my keys or my phone.
As for the recovery codes, SanDisk flash drives come with a password protected vault program that I put them in, then put that flash drive in my fire safe. Maybe not the most elegant solution, but it's worked for me so far.
As someone running a soresu based jedi in a ttrpg, there's a lot of times I get real frustrated not having a solid high damage finisher, which does lead to dark thoughts soooo.
I use a YubiKey and I like it. At this point the bulk of my 2FA is in ProtonPass, but for my work Microsoft 365 and Duo specifically it's nice to default to it and I'm more likely to have it since it's on my key ring, than my phone. Also nice to have stuff pointed to that rather than an app if you like to upgrade or wipe your phone frequently.
I think most businesses that don't provide work phones should be getting them for their employees so they don't need to require that employee install an app on their personal device.
I hate the ones that are just "open a case" and then they close the thread without saying what the fix ended up being, looking at you Veeam forums.
