  • don't forget mini PC like a beelink with a 8745HS for instance can be pretty great for games

  • I'm old, so I'd say: the Ewoks were jumping the sharks

  • Trump suggested that Trudeau would be the governor. Even better, it would be separated in 2, the conservatives part (I guess alberta) and the liberals part (I guess mostly Québec).

Maybe West Canada and East Canada, or Upper Canada and Lower Canada? 51st and 52nd state? Trump is fucking crazy

  • It's not first buyer, because not a lot of people can have a 5k or 6k mortgage + condo fee (can easily be 800-1000 per month in high rises when you have security+pool+gym etc) + property taxes (about 600$/month too in MTL for 1M).

  • Not only cold. Without AC the south of USA would be completely different too.

  • Yes, mud dauber, frightening but kind, rarely sting, and not that harmful

  • Yup, it was the good old time, on a 486

  • I do, first install using floppies, kernel v0.99, and more floppies for X

  • A used corporate surplus laptop would be far better.

Absolutely, a 3 years old Dell that was $2000 can be had for like $300 sometimes on eBay

  • This is what happens when you're in a country with laws. In 3rd country banana democracy, you don't go to jail for a coup, you run for president and win!

  • Imagine cars coming from Canada and Mexico, 25% more expensive, lol

  • New cars coming from Canada or Mexico? 25% more expensive. American cars made final assembly in USA with tons of parts from Mexico/Canada will be $$ too. And about every piece of electronics 10% more expensive too.

Does Trump know that drugs like fentanyl is being made in USA? Does he thingk drug manufacturer/dealer all come from mexico/canada/china?

  • Control

    Jump
  • yep, not using scroll wheel but clicking on the up/down arrow in the side bar, or, especially in Windows, when the remote IT guy go through start menu and type "control panel" and go here and here and here and you are wondering how this guy knows so few?!?

  • I find that Dell is very Linux friendly, some of them even comes with Ubuntu installed and supported on them.

You can find a slightly used one for a few hundreds $, and they are easy to upgrade, repair, etc, buy a Precision or Latitude that is coming from a company replacing them after 3 years.
