Why do I even internet?

Well, this wasn't a fun story at all.

Sometime between 2013 and 2018. Had to answer it myself. It got at least a couple dozen upvotes and a lot of people finding it useful and asking follow up questions.

It's deleted now. To be fair it was probably really outdated. But my account seems to be completely gone now. Maybe it got hacked. I haven't been there in a long time.

I don't think anyone on the Court is as far right or as nakedly corrupt as Thomas. Just because he's advising her, I wouldn't take that as an endorsement from the full Court. He frequently writes concurring opinions that go way beyond anyone else.

She is so blatantly biased. I wonder if even this Supreme Court would back her up.

Had an emotionally painful, self-esteem crushing experience at the hands of a high school girl that left me bitter and angry. Reconnected with her 15 years later and set about trying to hurt her the way I hurt. Wound up falling in love and getting married.

I would assume they do believe the cars are subsidized or otherwise unfairly priced. But I wouldn't rule out pressure from US diplomacy encouraged by donations from the American auto industry.

ETA on further thought: I wonder if prevalence of incest porn has had an effect on actual incest rates. That might be a much closer correlation due to the similar social taboo. But I'm not sure we have good data on that, either.

That's not really a nuanced take on what is going on. A bunch of images of children are studied so that the AI can learn how to draw children in general. The more children in the dataset, the less any one of them influences or resembles the output.

Ironically, you might have to train an AI specifically on CSAM in order for it to identify the kinds of images it should not produce.

An AI that is trained on children and nude adults can infer what a nude child looks like without ever being trained specifically with those images.

The problem is empirical data cannot be morally or ethically found. You can't show a bunch of people porn and then make a statistical observation of whether those shown child porn are more likely to assault children. So we have to go forward without that data.

I will anecdotally observe anal sex, oral sex, and facials have gone up between partners as prevalence in porn has gone up. That suggests but does not prove a direct statistical harm caused by even "ethically produced CSAM."

Yeah. My sympathies lie with OP, but communities should be able to unapologetically curate their vibe.

Be very cautious about using AI as a primary source of knowledge, but I agree it is very useful to explore sensitive topics in a casual and non-judgmental way, and during/after Google some of the things it says to see who is saying that and what alternate perspectives are out there.

There are biases inherent in the AI just based on the quantity of perspectives available to train on. Most AI has a "woke" (I mean that descriptively, not pejoratively) white American perspective, but that doesn't mean it's not useful, as long as you're aware.

When these things are manually censored, there is a ton of bias that is exposed. I mean the AI is going to also have bias from whatever it was trained on, but this is MS explicitly filtering out topics related to the genocide.

This is why I'm an advocate for unfiltered AI. Whatever answer you get is biased and possibly bullshit, but you should know that regardless of what you are asking it.

Would probably advance women's rights and gay rights.

Also, this copy reads like it was written by AI. If this is indicative of the stuff on the website, I very much would not like to read more. If it was written by a human, they should definitely lay off the LSD before writing.
