  • I loved that game and I love the setting and art, but it's soooo much reading. And I love reading, I really do! But it began to wear me down near the end.

  • That's because the remaster wasn't done by Bethesda but by Virtuosos, a different studio.

  • That is a bad idea because now someone else can also check how you've voted. I.e. you can be coerced or threatened to vote a certain way. The current system is anonymous. You can vote X but say you voted Y and nobody can prove different.

  • How is US tech going to do without European money? It's a two-way street. Things like GDPR, USB-C charging everywhere and other regulations have shown that the EU has plenty of influence.

  • Their controllers look great, but I wish they had a super simple 8-bit Nintendo controller for PC. No turbo buttons or other extra buttons. Something that my young kid could use.

  • Not true. I played Conan Exiles on both PS4 and PS5 and you can switch on the full nudity just like on PC and go ham on the dong/boob slider. I'm in the EU if that matters

  • It doesn't help that the One S is an underpowered cheapo console, but that MS demands that all Xbox games must run on the One S with a pretty high FPS. You had major developers delaying or cancelling their Xbox release because they couldn't get it to work on the One S.

  • Interesting, but it does sound like they are burning the general waste left over after splitting for recycling. I.e. not a lot of plastic.

  • Does that work? I don't think you can burn plastic cleanly...

  • Why wait? Why not switch now?

  • Isn't thousands of hours enough for many cameras?

  • I'm into Elite Dangerous at the moment. I got a cheap second hand X52 hotas and I set up head tracking with OpenTrack and a webcam. It's pretty immersive and fun!

  • My local game store had a PS1 with wipeout in a demo cabinet. I hung out there for hours playing

  • Science doesn't have to be slow. Politics and funding are usually the bottleneck.

  • I always find it interesting to see the percentages drop on Steam achievements when you progress through a game. The drop-off curve is very different from game to game. I always wonder about the people who drop off just before finishing the game.

  • Nothing. They should do exactly that. As usual the US government has proven that it cannot be trusted or relied on.
