  • Steve Shives is someone I've been watching. He's a little crass yet his observations are pretty decent. Otherwise, same as you...Jessie Gender, and Sean from TrekCulture

  • The $20 bills we see appear to all still feature Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait, despite the fact that this episode presumably takes place after 2024. Which would seem to indicate that the process of replacing the queen’s portrait with that of King Chuck III is really dragging, and not that this episode was filmed on location seven months before the queen’s passing in 2022.

Sera mentions at the Singh Institute that Khan's assassination was supposed to happen in 1992, that time keeps pushing back, and that this is the first opportunity she's had in 30 years to kill him. So this episode could have happened before 2024.

  • When the cab pulled up to Pelia's cabin I initially wondered how they got across the border, and then La'an mentions they bribed a border guard. Pretty good save there. You know it would've ended up in someone's plot hole YouTube video, or a clickbait ScreenRant article if they didn't cover that.

This was another solid episode; even though the ending was gut wrenching. Who would have thought that a writer would shoehorn a ship between Kirk and the descendent of his greatest nemesis. I really love this series.
