  • Partially implimented system theme. Comments: oP MuSt wAnT It tO LoOk lIkE MiCrOsOfT!

The only one who so-far realized the theming is the problem suggested a quick fix that will likely leave this issue cropping up again in other applications.

Me: down-votes comments because I WANT there to be a better answer, not because I know one. Happy Monday, people!

  • Sure, if that's your level of thought and reading comprehension, let's say you've got it. Is it really so hard to understand the notion that what works for you doesn't work for me, but I'm okay with you doing whatever?

    Keep practicing, kid.

  • Your life isn't my life, and restoring backups is no less a hassle just for having them(personally, I backup files, and either fix what I break or do a clean install). Auto-complete also makes me lose my train of thought, but if its helpful to you, enjoy.

  • I mean, if you have negotiable standards of personal comfort, and poor credit, it becomes difficult to build up that level of crippling debt.

Personally, those are both a requirement and a given.

  • Problem with corporal punishment is that the adults who would put it in the job description and accept it will tend to be into it. Same for domination.

I prefer a job where the methodology at least trends towards the supposedly intended results, not that I'm at all opposed to fetish/kink fulfilment. Just don't tell me the purpose is to help you write an unrelated book, or that my performance is evaluated by your progress in such at all.

  • I think the rich are more prone to buying new items. Eventually the prices of used items will rise as a result of demand, but not right away. No one needs a new game console, and few could not meet their needs with a used PC or laptop.

Most in the US already have all of the above, but sure, this disproportionally "hurts" the poor.

  • Californians are the reasons I left California. Just like Americans are the reason I want to leave this country more and more each day of my life, but still, nothing about that first issue has changed for the better since I left.

  • The PC parts pipeline is ever-so-slightly more diverse, although the article does say Laptop prices could go up by 46% ...

Look forward to more machines being assembled in other countries before hitting US soil, same as is already done for appliances by way of Mexico. Lack of imagination and industry knowlege on the part of whoever wrote the article, or just the desire to fear-monger.

Frankly, prices rising is not something I care about. Taxing the rich has to start somewhere, even if its what the Dems should have been doing.

  • The only significant policy change between the two was the legalization of weed. Can't tell me its the weed that made Harris less popular. In the end, she got my vote, where Hillary didn't, and still lost. Decades of conservative-lite policy momentum is a helluva stank, it turns out.

  • Same things Hillary's book said. No amount of reduced foreign propoganda will make up for shit policies. If the propoganda against you is spouting as many truths and lies as you are, its your own damn fault.

What Israel is doing in Gaza and the West Bank is genocide. Private Prisons and Deportation Facilities are evil. Private Healthcare is a waste of taxpayer money. Student Loans are an unconscionable trap. All of these are things Biden's party, even Biden himself, foisted on us decades ago and continue to lie about to this day on multiple levels.

Pizza-gate was a quaint joke of a lie by comparison to the shit sandwich the DNC demands we swallow in excange for keeping the oligarchy/fascism we've had all along behind closed doors. So sad for you that our governments rhetoric will now openly boast about the things you've been comfortable with all along.

  • Sure, sure. The problem is not enough pandering, handouts and concessions to the ultra-rich and .. checks notes ... foreign enemies?

Okay, I can't even remotely keep a straight face for that non-sense. Whatever's replaced the fentanyl in your dealer's weed supply, I think I might rather be dead than smoke it with you.

Unless maybe you mean China? ... but if so, why repeat the "enemy" narrative?
