Some really interesting ideas in that Diaspora except, reminds me of a lot of the ideas you can find in the indie scifi scene right now. I'll definitely check it out!
While looking up alien sci-fi I found "Perdido Street Station" which starts with the main character helping out a bird alien (according to the summary.)
I appreciate the rant and the advice! I've tried 1 before unmodded so I know a bit of what I'd be getting into. I probably wont wrap back around to 2 until I beat the 3D games but Ill re-review this all then. I play a lot of retro games so Im not unused to following guides and tip lists.
Any combat skill that is a good go to OP one? Im usually most interested in speech skills, maxing them before anything else.
I have two accounts. One with nothing blocked, and this one were I blocked all the serious subs, news subs, depressing subs, etc. so that I could switch to it when things got overwhelming.
Ended up being so much happier with the filtered feed I almost never flip back. I'm still aware of current happenings from other sources and Lemmy is my chill out spot and I love it.
I'm always excited for games based on completing specific, well written quests. I'm fairly optimistic for this.
