  • Its one of the games of all time

  • Dragons Dogma - great action RPG, leveling up is automatic, you buy abilities and just assign them to your action slots. You can change vocations(classes) anytime without much penalty and it's one of the few games where magic feels brutal and mages are super deadly, but all classes are fun to play.

The combat is something between Dark Souls and Devil May Cry and you can interact with all monsters: climb on large enemies, grab smaller foes, grab flying mobs, etc

The story is probably the weakest side, as it's not very clear what is going on for a while, but once you piece stuff together it's truly amazing, especially when you reach the endgame and beyond.

You can pick it up for a few euros/dollars as it's often on sale.

  • My current SD favourite is El Paso, Elsewhere Heavily inspired by Max Payne, it's a horror-noir TPS shooter with cool slow-mo dives and dual wield gun combat.

The story is completely bonkers, the main guy is a drug addict, who fell in love with a girl, who turned out to be Dracula, lord of vampires. So now our guy is at an interdimensional ever changing motel in El Paso to stop her from invoking the apocalypse. So unlike Max Payne you will fight vampires, ghouls and werewolves.

LOADS of bite sized levels, great narrative and music. Its an indie gem.

  • Ah yes, after this scene they gonna battle star galactica!

  • Isn't that a basin? A sink in here is for kitchens only. So by my standards he even fucked up this forced old joke.

  • If EA sold burgers

  • While I agree with everything you wrote, this conversation is far from a typical support request. Both sides are fucking idiots without any common sense.

  • Absolutely!

  • The third is its own story with occasional call backs for the previous games. Nothing major, mostly you will miss a few name drops here and there who played a role in the previous titles.

It will not affect your experience and the third entry is by far the most accessible game with tons of QoL features, proper gamepad support and you can easily enjoy it on a console as well.

I played the second on both PC and PS and the PC version was far superior.

  • Enough to watch 2 minutes of gameplay. It really does look boring and repetitive.

On steam it has great reviews with 1-2 hours of gameplay, because people are still high on the cell-shaded graphics.

  • Absolutely amazing series. As an IT nerd and fantasy enjoyer this book has everything while it's also very funny.
