  • I dont remember another tv show where we watched 10 hours of recap/explanation/theory videos on youtube before each new season.

Amazing show and my favourite part is not even how brilliant the storyline is, but the god tier casting of different aged actors for the same characters.

  • Your answer sounds like it was lifted from a LinkedIn motivational post.

College favours the rich, who can afford it and I don't think people with higher education are better at planning their future.

Lots of people are forced through college by their parents, often backed up with money and safety nets of security - if they fail the first time they just throw more money at it and try again.

  • I guess 5 rounds of 90 minutes long multi-stage interview process is much more efficient, where people selling an idealised version of themselves in imaginary scenarios.

Also talking to HR/recruitment department, who has no idea of the actual job is a great way to find the right candidate.

    ...its ridiculous

  • Cant you find out the answer for these questions with a series of short tests?

I once applied for a job at IBM and instead of an initial interview they sent me a series of interactive tests to check my skills. I ended up moving to another country and didn't follow through, but still liked this approach.

Also in the EU I can see lots of job listings are using now a system where you either have a certain type of education/degree or a certain previous experience to be eligible to apply.

Still you need to have knowledge of the specific field, but technically if you started at the bottom with an entry level low skill job you can get higher with experience alone and without a university degree.

  • You do not miss old games. You miss being a careless happy kid.

You can easily ignore the whole corporate AAA games-as-a-service bullshit.

There was never a better time to be an indie gamer. Arcade, platformer, racing, RPG, shooter. You can find a GOTY contender in each category under 5 USD each year.

  • The settings for different users + all the functions the remote has.

    Nozzle position, water temperature, etc.

    • Some settings like when to open the seat/lid, when to

I never use the app it as its just a gimmick and the remote has dedicated buttons for everything, but in theory if I go to a place which has the same brand toilet it will set my butt profile automatically if I have the app on my phone with me.

  • I invested in one of those super fancy "smart" toilets with built-in bidet and hot air drying.

I used to work for the manufacturer and got a big discount on it before I left. It has a lots of overkill functions but damn I love that thing: Night light, dedicated remote, smell absorbing filter, mobile app, automatic flushing, sensor operated seat.

Its the fanciest thing I own.

  • Its like NFS Underground, except the car is shit, the decals are shit and probably the driver is a piece of shit.

  • You are right, just checked it and its not there anymore. I downloaded it many months ago :(

  • In my experience the relatively small selection of the F-droid store is full of these type of games.

    Troll patrol

    Sudoku

    Unciv

    Shattered Pixel Dungeon

    Pirate Solitare

..just to name a few All full versions, no ads or premuim options. Love F-droid, its a shame the selection is quite small.

  • The gravity systems in this case are not pressurized. They just have a water tank in the loft/airing cupboard and the hight of the tank determines the pressure. 0.1 bar for every 1 meter height. You open the faucet and gravity pushes out the water.

Its a nightmare, I used to live in UK and these systems are barely enough for anything really.

  • No idea what is the story behind it, or if there is a practical reason.

  • In europe they mostly use Bars as the unit of measurement.

Mostly water pressure is around 1-2 bars as a minimum, but there are still places using different standards, for example the old style gravity-fed UK watersystems with sub 1 bar pressure, but those are not very common anymore.

Most domestic sanitary products in the EU are designed to be used on 1-5 bar pressure.

I read somewhere the domestic water pressure to be between 4-6 bar, however not sure how realistic it is accross the whole EU and also what you got at the mains and what you got when opening the faucet is two different numbers.

  • Guy was a legend, I bought Terraria because of him. His voice and style was amazing. Rest in piece!

  • Hey its my 567th half completed big project in Terraria. I wonder if I generate a new world and start from scratch I can build something even bigger...

  • What is all this insolence? You will find yourself in gladiator school vewy quickly with wotten behavior like that.

  • No problem, its not some golden rule you should follow (especially from an internet stranger) but it's mainly bad roads, bad economy (poor police/ambulance availability), the little Roma villages/gipsy makeshift living areas, where I would not show up alone with any valuables (similar to gipsy ghettos near big cities) and last but not least wildlife. While bears and other predators are not uncommon, rabid dogs are also a possibility.

Before somebody accuses me hating Romania (its a beautiful country with incredible landscapes and the capital and developed parts are very popular tourist destinations), the above is also applicable for many other europen countries. This is why I strongly suggest doing some research before planning such trips, as the relative safety and enjoyment of a holiday can vary from region to region within a small country. This is why its borderline impossible to give a straight answer to the original post.
