  • Try again. But by all means, be selfish and lie on the forms since you are arrogant enough to know better than the people who actually collect the blood, or the teams that carefully create these questionaires. It's not like these are there for both your safety and the safety of the patient.

  • You can do both and people have done for ages. The thing about work is that you need to do it even when you don't want to, which makes some people resentful. But that's the difference between a hobby and work. Passion has nothing to do here. There are passionate people who went into a job because of it and won't trade it for anything.

  • Lol if you know anything about Poland, it's that there is no universe where it would take shit from anyone. The quote "Poland will have its borders even if it's on the last map humanity ever makes" is funny only to those who haven't been here

  • You could say "take the data and go to a doctor just in case". Explain the liability thing. Tell them you'll deny you told them anything. If they are your close friend, why would they take it as "fuck yeah let's sue the dude that was worried about me"?

  • The thing with programming is it isn't really 8h of looking at the screen unless you make it that, and your boss is an asshole. We had plenty of excercise during the day - we were sparring with swords, going for walks, had an accessible gym, etc. A good company understands a problem isn't getting solved quicker by chaining someone to the PC. Though I get you - I gave it up too. Now running my own medical device company - pays like shit but is infinitely more satisfying / fulfilling. At least the interesting R&D part is lol.
