  • Don't let cats chase a laser pointer. They need to catch something to not get frustrated with their "hunt" - which you simulate with playing. Laser pointers are especially bad for this, even if you lead the cat to a treat or something.

  • An ex of mine would 'tickle me with her eyelashes'. Similar concept but no eye touching. Would've probably evolved into that had we stayed together. My other ex would look at me dramatically with one eye (as if recoiling from something shocking) then switch the eyes and moving closer too. Ended up with her deep in my face sometimes.

  • Yes, senior citizens are more stupid. That's why scams targetting them exist. You can tell them about something being a scam and they will fall for it anyway. They will get fished by "huge savings" and "sales" despite being millionaires. Once someone starts "sliding back", it doesn't matter how smart they used to be.

  • Because it isn't a reasonable question, it is a russian propaganda question that leads to "but they voted to join Russia" which you then need to counter further with "with literal soldiers standing there and checking your ballot for the right answer".

  • It specifically is about looking unapproachable, angry etc, when the person doesn't feel any of those emotions (hence the "resting" part, like resting heart rate). It means someone who is having fun but looking differently too. Bitchiness or shittiness doesn't factor in at all - the "bitch" in the name is a metaphor.

  • Dry food is bad for a cat's kidneys. Wet food only is the best diet for them, but people don't like the smell, the mess or the hassle. Leaving out food 24/7 for most cats tends to make them obese.

  • Depends on what stability you are talking about. For freecad, I have to redo the entire part every time I change a dimension and the program doesn't like it. Which is my main gripe with it - parametric cad that doesn't like its parameters changed. It was worse before the naming problem was solved, but is still a huge issue. With solidworks and the same designs, we didn't get as much lag (though it is a huge resource hog), but changing stuff earlier was a breeze and always worked

  • Freecad is free. It's a huge pain compared to commercial though. It is a bit better with 1.0, but still. Gets slow when the scene / part gets complicated. Solidworks is pricy, but you can get a 1yr free pass for startups, with year 2 and 3 "discounted". Best cad I tried so far, but fuck the pricing. Fusion pissess me off, can't do things I want to do my own way. Sketchup was a toy last time I tried it. Blender is not CAD software.
