Stop focusing on your looks. Become someone who: likes themselves, is funny, is caring, is growing their career, is good fixing things, is strong, is a leader, helps others, can sing well, or something else.

Unexpectedly, showing progress is nearly as important than the end state. Someone growing their career and becoming funny, gets most of the points for having a good career and being funny (note actual progress, not day dreaming).

My advice is to pursue whatever you guess will help you like yourself, but that is not necessary.

Contractors don't fix things as much as charge for what we are contracted for. I might fix things, but I am able to fix far less than when I was a direct hire. The issue gets worse the more contractors there are, both individuals and companies. Shit hiring company policies make this worse. The structure of many companies is the cause of company problems.

If I interpreted this comment correctly, this is as designed and intentional. ISPs only route to the neighbors that advertise a possible path to the actual endpoint.

I often think about this with regards to superpowers. If one knew everything, and could do anything, then there is no reason to smash. Little nudges would be all that is necessary. Bad guys pants fall down, their gun jams, the getaway car breaks down in a remote area... The opportunities are endless.

Leave home where it is. Symlink to important directories on RAID.

Makes it easier to mess with the RAID if it doesn't make logging in hard.

Even 100% on the coldest day is not per se an issue provided additional heat can be used. Space heaters, gas fire places, and baking being big ones.

The high end weddings are wildly higher than this. The median wedding is way cheaper than $100K.
