  • I'm simply fucking baffled how they think their opinion matters in any fucking way, when they advocate for christofascism. They want every other woman to be breeding cattle, but expect themselves to be allowed opinions? Fuck outta here.

  • I've now seen 3 completely contradictory definitions of what an astronaut it. 1 by ESA, 1 by the FAA, and 1 by a dictionary. Clearly no one actually knows what an astronaut is exactly, and what the exact minimum requirements are for an astronaut to be called an astronaut. What everyone seem to at least agree on is that part of what makes an astronaut, is in some capacity to visit space.

  • Did they travel in a spacecraft, and did they recieve the necessary training to do so?

Not all astronauts pilot the spacecraft, and most going to eg. the ISS don't actually do anything while going to the station. That trip is also just an automated flight, controlled by the onboard computer.

It's more akin to, "if that makes them astronauts, then people who have traveled on an airplane, has recieved the training to travel in an airplane."

  • While I'm disgusted by this whole pr stunt by Katy Petty, an astronaut is literally just a person trained to travel in a spacecraft beyond the earths atmosphere. pr Merriam Webster. So is she an astronaut? Assuming the spacecraft actually left the earths atmosphere, then yes. She can identify herself as an astronaut. Doesn't make her anywhere near as cool an astronaut as the people who work and do research in space, but that's not necessarily part of the definition.

  • I was pretty surprises I got it too. It scrambled to get under my trash bucket for a bit which gave me the chance to chop. While there's definately a fair few mice, it's not like it's an infestation. I grew up on a farm so I'm pretty used to them.

Thanks for the advice though :)

  • Currently dealing with mice. They can't actually get into the home, but they're in the walls and attic. I've got traps up a few places but they rarely catch anything. I and caught one under my kitchen sink last night while trying to make a midnight snack. Caught me completely by surprice, but I scrambled for the biggest closest knife I could find, and chopped the motherfucker.

So I'm currently apparently dealing with it both passively with traps, and actively through brute force.

  • I think this whole Garcia deportation is part of that. It wasn't supposed to in the beginning, but they're cooking with what they have.

Instead of talking about how fucking insane it is to deporting people to a death camp without any due process. We're now talking about how insane it is to deport someone who wasn't "supposed" to be deported to a death camp, and then refuse to do the bare minimum to get him back.

They've made sure we ignore the hundreds of people getting removed with no sign of evidence against their crimes.

  • Sure, but Garcia is still stuck in the death camp. What happened here was basicly just a photo op. Nothing was won here. Hollen just seems more sympathetic now without having accomplished anything. Garcia is no closer to surviving this than before.

  • I will put those people into the "status symbol" group.

They may not give a fuck about the politics, the quality issues or being lied to, but they still want a Tesla for a reason. They could save money by buying a different car that performs equally or better. So they don't buy it because of the price.

With no other incentive it leads me to the conclusion they want it because they think it makes them look "better" than everyone who doesn't have one.

  • Seriously. I can handle being with family for a while, but would absolutely lose all will to live if I had to be near children every single day. Even more if I was actually supposed to be responsible for them. There are a lot of good reasons to not get children, the best one I have is that I just don't want to be near them.

  • I felt I was taking crazypills. In what world does this headline and article not scream "These games are ruining lives because of extremely manipulative marketing tactics.

I assume the people who took this article as a personal attack are part of the 19%, but doesn't want to realise they have a very serious problem.
