  • There is a text book that I want to teach to students, but I can’t just buy it off their website. It’s either out of stock and another one wants me to buy at least 5 copies.

They have a “contact representative” button, but they never get back to me or take really long to do so.

It’s significantly easier to just buy it from an online source that just reprints these books and sells them for half the price. Not that I would ever do that, but I’m just saying.

  • They didn’t get sentenced yet. After being guilty the judges and lawyer may have additional meetings to discuss how long a person should be sentenced for so while they are waiting for that, the guilty party can be in jail, let allowed to be at home, or pay bail to be at home.

  • Yeah, there are two different programs. One is for domestic flights and one is for domestic and international.

I did the domestic flight one once because it was free with my credit card.

But I had to fill out some forms and interview in person.

I only got to use it once because they vip lanes were always closed.

It’s only worth it if you need to travel a lot.

Additionally, I’ve never really suffered long lines through airport security.

The long lines are typically at immigrations and you can’t skip those outside of being a diplomat or private jet rich.

  • A foreigner who is in the US legally can own a business, run for political office, own land, have a professional job like doctor, teacher, lawyer.

I am a US citizen but live in a foreign country as a resident and I can’t do any of those things here even though I am here legally. Only citizens are allowed to do those things here.

So in that regard, I’d say the US respects foreigners right.

  • People keep saying that they can’t for e you to enter your pin, but they can enforce biometrics.

I’m pretty sure that immigration in the US can just confiscate your devices if you are not a citizen .
