I wouldn’t call those $12 cases garbage. My case is $8 and it’s really high quality. It’s really slim but slightly raised on the corners by like 1mm for a little extra protection.
It’s the Streisand effect. Now I want to see out of curiosity. Not that I’m going to, but all this talk has me wondering why it’s suddenly being spoken about.
I’m hoping, the EU comes down hard on Apple. But I’m guessing this was Apple testing the waters and will make meaningful changes when they formally submit their proposal.
I’d love to see Apple get banned from making sales in EU for a month or so. Just to really show them that they have to start playing fairly and follow the law.
I’m against deepfaking others without their consent, but all this coverage has me wondering what the big deal is. Things like this have always existed, what is the difference this time?
I care about sideloading and imessage. If imessage was available on android, I would be using a pixel at the moment. It's just that I am from the US but don't live their. So imessage is the easiest way for me to be in touch with 99% of the people I know.
I’m getting real sick of Apple. I used to be a pretty big Apple fanboy, but over time I have been starting to resent them more and more.
It started a few years ago, when I needed a new laptop because the 2016 MacBook Pro had the backlight not working defect and I was out of the period to get it fixed.
I looked at the MacBook Air, but even to this day, it only has 256gb hard drive and 8gb ram. After upgrading the storage space, the price was insanely high. I don’t mind paying extra for an upgrade to storage and ram, but not $400 more for something that should be the standard amount at this point.
Then iMessage being locked to iPhone. Since I’m from the US but don’t live there I’m pretty locked into iOS for iMessage unless I want to deal with and pay for international messaging.
Now, once they’re forced to open the app store, something that a lot of people want, they are being so petty about it.
I just got an iPhone 15 to upgrade from my
iPhone XR, but I’m really thinking about just moving to a pixel and saying buy to Apple for
Good.
First of all, I can evaluate whether I like the game or not, see if it runs well enough for me. I know Steam has a 2 hour window for a refund, but that it less convenient than testing the. Game in other ways.
I’m not worried about Google blocking it but rather the app I use to say, “hey something weird is going on with this phone better block/ban that account.
I know the risk is minimal, but it’s not could be a huge disruption to my income, so it’s just not worth it.
It was a good game, but near the end I was just ready for it to be over.
I’m in the camp of this being a bad resident evil game, but I still recognize it as a good game.
