  • I’m not an Italian citizen and I don’t live there.

Their laws do not apply to me. An Italian citizen or resident can go online and buy vpn service from me. There is not law im subjected to that says I can’t sell vpn services to Italians.

  • At this point the only console I’d consider is a Nintendo console, but I’m actually thinking about skipping it this time around. Or at least waiting until there are a bunch of games for it.

Usually nintendo consoles get emulated pretty quickly, so maybe I’ll skip it altogether this time. But I guess let’s see what they release with it.

  • I agree. Maybe it’s because all the games can play with lower graphical settings on older PCs. My desktop was mid-tier in Xbox one days, and has about the same performance as a steam deck. I don’t think there are any games I can’t play.

  • That’s kinda what I’m thinking too.

It’s going to be weird seeing them introduce next gen stuff at some point. Already my steam deck is like a high end Xbox one and I’m happy with graphics and performance. I can’t imagine seeing any noticeable changes in graphics in the ps6.

  • It’s so weird that these consoles are in the latter stages of their life. Was it just this generation that was weird or am I just getting old?

It seems that they are not as popular as the Xbox one and ps4 were. Maybe I just checked out of modern gaming.

  • Well check out gpt4all.

There are a number of different models to download and run.

I think your real challenge is to find the right model.

Do you know any programming languages?

  • I feel the same way. There are so many interesting youtube videos posted here. But i do not want to sit down and watch them. If I could read them, then i'd be game. The problem is, is that you can legit earn money making youtube videos.

  • A kid in my high school shaved just half of his face to be funny.

He got sent home for it, but it was dumb because it was hardly noticeable. I think the only reason he got sent home is because he wouldn’t stop talking about it.

  • Everything released at 7 was pretty good. Resident evil 4 remake was well done, but the second half of the game was a bit tiresome.

I actually do not like that game as it doesn’t feel like a real resident evil game to me. If they put it in some other universe, I probably would have enjoyed it more.

  • I have similar worries. I think there will always be some kind of free hardware, but it might be limited to slower arm or risc-v chips. But I doubt there will even be a situation where you can’t have control.

Your second point is not something I’ve considered, but now I’m worried about it and can totally see that being a thing.

  • I discovered this game like two years ago and it got me super addicted. I can't believe how sucked in I got. I've had trouble getting into a second play through, I am not sure why. Maybe it is because the mystery is gone.

  • Baldur's Gate 3 is addicting. I think I am getting near the end of the main story, but I am not 100% sure. Pausing the game on the SteamDeck is the only reason I am able to sink so many hours into this game.

I'll say it again, SteamDeck is the only platform that I will game on from here on out. It is exactly what I have always wanted. A PC that acts like a console. I love the handheld aspect as I can be on the sofa or in bed with my wife while gaming.

  • To any Linux curious users,

I consider myself to be an intermediate Linux user. I have hosted applications and services on Linux servers in the cloud and use it as my primary operating system. I recommend Linux Mint. If you have an nvidia GPU, then I recommend PopOS as they have a version that has nvidia drivers pre-installed.

When I first started with Linux, I thought that Mint was less capable than other distros as it was the most user friendly. But I learned that you can do anything you want with any Linux distro. It is just that Mint is the least likely to give you trouble with random things.

With that all being said, you will have far fewer issues with Linux than you will with Windows.

Additionally, you can get legit troubleshooting steps for linux that actually work. With Windows it seems that there are 100 ways to possibly fix an issue and they feel like patching a sinking boat.
