Checking before buy buying will be possible for computer and privacy « educated » people only, that leaves almost everyone helpless in the real world, in a store facing TVs all playing the demo video. Maybe some will read Amazon reviews or do actual research… hope.

It’s easier to pretend your data were deleted than collecting part of your data and sending them back to you. They almost every time don’t know how much, where, why they have so much data. They certainly have no way to collect them, only hand made work, so let’s have a little misunderstanding and hope it works.

Agreed, masOS shouldn’t copy windows bloatware. It’s about concentration on the real work (or fun), not side quests with bob or copilot or whatever

TL;DR « Apple is interested in using its own chips to build servers that can power generative AI functions for its Apple Intelligence, the company’s in-house AI«  That’s the only reason I can think of apple returning to the server market : not returning to the server market as a dell competitor but for its own good…
