  • A decade of voluntary, part-time, crowdfunded development maybe

Unfortunately, that's the cost of products made by and for the people - rough but private and mostly noninvasive.

  • Sorry to say this, but you aren't correctly discerning AI from real. Currently, AI image gen still creates objects, usually outside of the centre or foreground, that defies reality/physics. Those traffic lights would've definitely been mushed aha

  • Not to mention the environmental cost is literally astronomical. I would be very interested if AI code is functional x times out of 10 because it's success statistic for every other type of generation is much lower.

  • Classic Britain
Afaik it's headed by EDF so my current supplier is bound to expand some profit margins

  • Seems legit, he is like 25ft tall

  • It's expensive but I used Stardock on Windows. Specifically the bundle so I can use Fences and WindowFX. You can customise the hell out of Windows with their software, highly recommend. Free options do not come close.

    Doesn't fix YouTube UI though.

  • So, I watched Satan's Guide to the Bible. Um, this should come as no surprise to atheists but the complete extermination of Gaza is exactly what their bible says should happen. They are carrying out the word of their god, just like they apparently did millennia ago.

  • From AXN live stream earlier today
See the signpost in the middle

  • I looked into this recently - microwave ovens emit an electromagnetic frequency due to the power coursing through them that's very useful for tracking time, so that is why they usually have clocks. The problem is, the frequency is dependent on the power it receives, and mains voltage fluctuates. For example, those in a UK household may have heard that mains voltage is 240V. In reality this is 230-250V (reference below). The clock running a slight bit faster indicates a higher trending voltage than the microwave was rated for.

    • My microwave is rated for 230-240V and has a frequency of 2450MHz.

  • Want 😂 so simple but I can practically taste it

  • Windows? I was crazy once.

  • Omg look at their basket on wheels

  • Yeah, I wonder if there's a piece of hardware that facilitates the bricking that will be found soon, otherwise a large influx of ways to flash the Switch 2 with a safer firmware. The Switch 2 is pathetic by today's standards anyway. Should've been a 2K OLED at the minimum

  • effectively pushing users to install apps only through the Google Play Store

I wonder what this will mean for Aurora and Fdroid etc.

  • One is more 1950s Mr Clean and the other is 2010s Mr Clean

  • Is that why it's called Præy for the Gods?!

  • Oh, so that makes this article relevant.. I found this while sniffing around Israel's news.

  • Reading about this stuff on the Israeli lead news network KAN is... Interesting. When the complete eradication of Gazans is being talked about it's very blasé and never takes responsibility. For example, this report says Hamas are in fact the ones screwing up Gaza aid efforts, and this one richly claims that the IDF did not kill anyone at an aid site. The IDF alleges that they investigated themselves and found that they weren't guilty.
