Intolerance is only an issue when it is equated with violence. There's no real issue or paradox of intolerance if you equate intolerance with asserting boundaries nonviolently - this is the literal basis of unconditional love.

It's probably more that each BRICS nation was originally promised something big in this plan, usually related to gold which is mainly what BRICS currency will be backed with along with oil and other precious metals.
- Russia wants all land the Arctic ocean touches, plus access to other seas/ports, plus precious metals and oils in those lands (Canada produces a LOT of gold).
- India (joined later) wants the gold in the Indus river between it and Pakistan.
- China has "found" massive gold deposits recently too in their country, but my guess is they want Taiwan, South China Sea rights at minimum plus main control of the management of the BRICS currency and banks. China also likely has accurate gold maps of the US west coast, because Chinese miners came during the gold rush to get it, they were all over mapping it etc. Not that old mining claims are a secret per se (plus we have public USGS maps now), but it is hard to know if they really did get the gold from those claims or if they stole it and laundered it through a gold claim (common). So China likely has their own records of where gold is. That's why Trump wants to log the national parks/forests - they are all in areas with lots of gold (and mercury injected into ground to get it, water contamination), logging is the first step to mining.
-Iran likely WANTS some kind of war in the middle east for dominance. They have to make the Israelis look like Nazis if they want to take that area over. They have to have justification for it or the world will be upset and start sanctioning etc. Plus, Abraham accords, UAE, Saudi Arabia, are all financially threatening to not just Iran, but the world, due to their wealth and how they accumulate it.

So we should actually be at a food surplus/peak but climate change etc is so bad (we are past 6 maybe 7 of 9 boundaries to live on earth) that we are dying and animals are dying. Indeed the free market itself has demanded regulations, hence why they exist. And the regulations don't actually per se stop crime, they simply give a quick mechanistic action afterwards to getting retribution when the regulations are violated - they bankrupt corrupt businesses over time.
Business and government do different things. The government is like the brain of the body, it receives info and dispatches messages to various areas to have the body respond.
The economy is our blood, it literally transfers resources like food to various areas of the body.
They do different functions. They do different things. How can you run a brain/nervous system like a circulatory/blood system? They are different and for different things. They mean they want to run the country BY businesses, as if businesses had control, not as if it was its own separate business.
Further with this analogy, the peripheral nerves are like our communications systems, the lymph is like the military combined with 501cs (mix of attacking and helpful resources, eg vitamins in chylomicrons). And the people are all the individual cells, do their best in their specialized roles and communicating with the brain what needs they have so the brain can dispatch or change things to keep everything running well in homeostasis.
A group of cells (like a business) who demands too many resources/blood supply will kill other cells. It can be hard for the brain to figure out why cells are dying and may attack the wrong cells to correct it, and give resources to the wrong cells. This is how the US has started to die.
BlueSky is genuinely one of the least toxic socials I've had in a while. I can agree to disagree there on normal issues like whether UBI should be given in a lump sum, weekly, monthly- it's not fucking assholes "debating" if aliens built the pyramids and whether we should drink our own pee or if good faith arguments are important or if it's "natural" to be attracted to 14yr old girls as an adult man (all topics I've seen on Lemmy).
