  • Why do you include the CC link in all of your comments...?

  • The platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus),[3] sometimes referred to as the duck-billed platypus,[4] is a semiaquatic, egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania. The platypus is the sole living representative or monotypic taxon of its family Ornithorhynchidae and genus Ornithorhynchus, though a number of related species appear in the fossil record.

Together with the four species of echidna, it is one of the five extant species of monotremes, mammals that lay eggs instead of giving birth to live young. Like other monotremes, the platypus senses prey in cloudy water through electrolocation. It is one of the few species of venomous mammals, as the male platypus has a spur on the hind foot that delivers an extremely painful venom.

  • Yiikes the comments there are so toxic its crazy. Glad I've got those instances blocked.

  • I'm just hoping for Hell Let Loose port 😢

  • Just out of curiosity, what does med-low mean in terms of the numbers on an induction top? Mine goes from 1-14 in heat, but I usually need to put it to 7, as anything below that just doesn't make it warm enough or I was too impatient to wait? So whemat number do you usually out yours on?

I'll need to try to pre-boil my water too!

  • Not a direct answer to your question, but this is where I download my stuff from, and it also shows size.

Edit: Wikipedia is available there, the full thing is 109.89GB. I wonder how up-to-date it is.

  • Woahh nice personal fully heater!

  • Hahaha yeah fair point, I'm also quite new to Linux so Nix is a lot at once, but really love it so far!

  • I actually do have a spear rpi actually! However I was planning on running HomeassistantOS on it. But could do what you do as a temporary solution. If you wouldn't mind and have the time to look up your solution I would highly appreciate it 🙌

  • Via WiFi, sry if that wasn't clear. I simply don't have access to the router as that belongs to the landlord. He has a separate network for me, but it's on his side of the house 😅

  • Thanks I'll try this!

  • Member* of JupiterBroadcasting 🤗 But I was using Tailscale before I found their show haha

  • Thanks I'll try this, don't need to open ports, as I use Tailscale 🙌

  • Good you found something that works for you 👌

  • Out if curiosity, what did you not like with Nix?

  • I too use Photon when on PC. However I do believe the majority of users here liked the old reddit style of things maybe. Might be why the default look of lemmy looks like it does? I'm only guessing here though!

  • Have a look at Tailscale for your devices, this will prevent you from having to expose anything to the Internet, but rather having it behind your own VPN solution. Tailscale is the kinda service that is stupid easy to get going with too. HIGHLY recommend it!
