  • Ah! I think I understand better now, thank you! I think I’ve always used Better Vampires for the customization aspect, so maybe that’s why in Sacrosanct I didn’t really understand why my vampire was so different! :p

  • Hey, there! Random as hell, but Sacrosanct made me think of something. I see a majority of Nexus Mods Collections for Skyrim include Sacrosanct. I am wondering what you like about it, say, compared to Better Vampires? I use BV every playthrough, but was always interested in understanding why Sacrosanct is the preferred mod for so many people? :)

  • Clippy has been resurrected!

Can someone recommend me some good local LLMs I can get from HuggingFace? I'm new to all of this stuff, but running it locally with "Clippy" seems like a fun thing to do when I'm bored and don't have anything to do. (I usually don't have a lot of time, but damn it, I want to at least try this stuff once!)

  • 2009scape is wonderful for those like me who need to scratch that RuneScape itch without a subscription. The fact I can play it off of a USB is testament to itself how incredibly awesome you guys are. Thank you for the project, sincerely. :')

  • No, seriously.

This mindset of, “If you don’t like to read pages of documentation to figure out how to do the thing you’re wanting to do, then maybe Linux isn’t for you?” Or the “god. How dare you ask such a STUPID question. You’re using Linux wrong and it probably isn’t for you. Go back to baby’s first OS!” Is the biggest gripe I have about using Linux.

  • I used to look into conspiracy stuff, and came out laughing at them after seeing the first tRump presidency, and realizing the government isn't even smart enough to handle actual problems, let alone a "NWO" ("New World Order"). Sorry guys, incompetence all the way up!

P.S. I never fully believed them, but some of the stuff was interesting to think about at the least. Now, I don't ever care about them because they make less sense than ever. Jewish space lasers, amiright?

  • The problem with using flat pack version of Steam for me was the weird folder structure for installing games. I like my stuff to be easy to remember and human readable. I.e. Home/Games instead of 726284783/737384/*installed game

  • MSN is also terrible about this shit. I turned off their new tab garbage and replaced it with Bonjourr right before the election because of all the misinformation it was showing. Crazy we just accept this shit man.

As for YouTube, this is very easy to verify. Sign out of YouTube > CTRL+F5 > look at the top viewed videos

You will see what garbage most of the populace sees when they go to YouTube without logging in. I believe this is the real reason they don’t care if people log in or not. They can push the narrative while seeming like they’re being good guys by allowing you to consume content “for free”.

  • Hi there, PAWtner, I hope this doesn't come off as a CATastrophe, but I hope you are PURRusing your code on VSCodium and not VSCode.

    ;)

EDIT: Upon further examination, your PAWs are already on VSCodium. PURRfect. :)

  • Bought a Roku back in 2020 or 2021 because the Apple TV was more expensive.

    Now I know why.

For what it is worth, I have Roku set up as a REGEX in my Pi-hole so for the most part, any of this nonsense is completely blocked on my Roku.

Needless to say, I shouldn’t have to do this shit with a device I paid for and mainly use for Plex streaming.

  • Yeah, I’ve never liked timed anything in video games. I’m playing video games to escape, not stress about missing something that could be important. I’m supportive of adding a toggle that gives the player the option on if they want timed quests or not.
