I always thought it was cold showers that went along with black coffee. I personally enjoy the taste of coffee but it took a while to get my setup dialed in to not make the coffee taste bad black. I think a lot of people just drink bad coffee. I get what you're saying, but I'm genderqueer and I still enjoy the taste of coffee.
They're saying that the % in dark chocolate is percentage of cocoa in general, which would include both cocoa butter (the only "chocolate" part of white chocolate) and cocoa solids (the fermented product of the cocoa bean, what I would consider to be chocolate). I'm not sure how accurate this is because I always thought it was a measure of percentage of cocoa solids, not just "cocoa" in general which would include the butter. I could be mistaken.
You enjoy sweetened cocoa butter rather than the fermented product of the cocoa bean, one is chocolate and the other is not. You enjoy the one that is not chocolate, but makes a great moisturizer if you don't add sugar.
Sheer processing power, stylus compatibility, and interoperability with computers of the same brand, which Samsung does too. I want an Android tablet that has as good a stylus and CPU speeds, then I would be right on it, because Android is a superior mobile OS in many ways. I loved my Nexus 7 and my ASUS Transformer but they just weren't there yet.
No android tablet since then you mean. I loved that thing. I still use Pixel phones but I caved and bought an iPad. Even the Pixel tablet can't compare.
Unless I'm mistaken I would say that it's the other way around, Morse code is more like a human readable machine language expressed in binary because the 26 character alphabet is expressed in different binary values, much like ASCII.
This is a weird meme to me. Have you ever made something like a simple accumulator machine out of logic gates, OP? You literally just program them in binary, although usually the instructions are expressed in hexadecimal. You make your own instruction set. When we did ours in Compsci foundations I just decided that 0x06 was going to be my jump at negative instruction. I could have wired the logic so that instruction was at a different value, it's literally possible to make your own instruction set, then your own assembly language, and then your own compiler, and your own programming language. People, mostly women at first, did this for every new computer their institution built at first.
I had the same journey but I'm pretty sure I found Slashdot by way of boingboing which I found by way of Diesel Sweeties blog posts when I first got a DSL connection in 2002 and was looking for comics and blogs to fill up my trendy new RSS reader lol
