  • Nocturnal friend wants to become a 'NEET' which I have learnt stands for Not in Employment, Education or Training. She said she just wants to win the lottery. A girl can dream.

What would you do if you won the lottery?

  • I just realised I did end up going to my work area, got set up, and then I had to go out and get them because I was sitting in a ID card required space that they couldn't enter.

But yeah, next time, I will go somewhere they can enter.

  • I could've just sat down and studied - that's what we were there for - but I couldn't find a spot in the area we were supposed to meet. If I had just gone myself to the area I was going to go in, it would've been fine.

  • It's actually a different "friend" unfortunately. I've had to set boundaries with them because they were ruminating about a problem and bringing me down. That's why we were meeting up to study, not chit chat. Today they brought up that problem, despite me communicating to them that constantly bringing up a problem and pretty much trauma dumping on me was a problem. So I am done with them I think.

The other late friend has improved quite a bit.

  • Today I got no work done. Spent ages trying to find somewhere to sit and there was not really any spaces in any of the libraries around with unoccupied plugs. Then I was supposed to meet with a friend at 11 and they arrived at 12:30. I could've found somewhere to sit and asked them to join me, but I just wanted to go home at that point. Came down with a massive headache.

At least I got 20,000 steps in. Now I shall keep warm and attempt the work I wanted to do. There's always tomorrow after all.

  • This is going to sound weird but hear me out.

Get your frozen strawberries, preferably with icicles on them, into a bowl.

Microwave (mik-row-wah-vay) them part of your dishwasher is empty, so for about two minutes for me. You're left with kind of soft strawberries and some "strawberry water".

Add a few tablespoons of yoghurt and mix. You now have a dessert that has the warmth of a pudding and consistency of runny custard.

    That's disgusting, isn't it...
