  • I can back that up; the drives I ordered were packaged in an antistatic bag, surrounded by an air filled cushion thing, in a hard cardboard box. (Assuming what I got was the "air pockets" it's a plastic sleeve made of many pressurized sections that completely encloses the drive; definitely adequate IMO. I can dig up a pic if you want).

  • The "edge" we see is just the furthest point in the universe that light is able to reach us from. Beyond that the universe is receding too quickly for the light to make it to us. Since the expansion is uniform, we can see an equal distance in all directions and thus we are at the center of our visible universe.

  • Obviously always issuing deletion orders would be a good thing, but it doesn't seem like it would be very effective. It would be all too easy for the offender to stash a backup flash drive somewhere before "complying" with the order.

  • Would sodium make a good bath bomb, or would a liquid sodium-potassium alloy be better? What about cesium, if price is no concern? How effective would such a bomb be against someone taking a bath? What's the best delivery method; maybe something that dissolves in water like dishwasher pods?

I'm reasonably sure nobody has thought that before.
