  • Did this. Neighbor was emphatic that anything on my side of the property line is my problem to deal with. That's why I want the salt. The tree overhangs our back patio and drops seedlings everywhere in our decorative gravel. So I want to salt that area to prevent anything growing back and I'd like to mist everything hanging over our property with salt water until it dies. You got any particular tips on salinity for maximum plant toxicity?

  • Neighbor said anything on my side of the property line is my problem. So I'm planning on salting my side of the plot. We have decorative gravel with planters and the shit tree keeps dropping sprouts in between our gravel.

  • There's not much else to see. Honestly the best ending is the little citadel get together you play sometime in 3. Most of the characters you've come to know and love all gathered for a small, low key house party. Everything about the battle for earth and the citadel ghost can eat my shorts.

  • Sphinx cat. No dander to upset the allergies and they're kind of high maintenence which would be excellent for teaching hygiene to the kiddo. Like you actually have to bathe them. Too many boys grow up avoiding showers and baths.

Other than that though they're generally very chill animals. As much as cats can be chill. Not recommended for an indoor/outdoor animal as excess sun can cause this breed problems.

  • You can't scare a welder with popsci nonsense. Why would I ever worry about a steel capped lead seal that's as far as it's possible to be from the liquid in my cup? Might as well worry about breathing nitrogen from the atmosphere.

  • Paul isn't out harassing inuit communities. Do you know why? Because inuit communities practice ACTUAL sustenance hunting, not a tradition of slaughter dressed up as "culture". Do not disgrace actual caretakers of the land to cover up your barbarism

  • Nah. Just having the lid off to eat the noodles is enough to let out most of the heat. My stanley can keep water near boiling for a good 10-12 hours with the cap on, but even slightly open that time drops down to an hour or two at most. It's really wild how significant the difference is.

  • Don't get too excited. The studio was been acquired by the publisher of PUBG, and their stated plans are to release subnautica 2 as a live service game with possible coop. I don't think subnautica 2 is going to be anything like what you're expecting. They've CLAIMED there will be no subscriptions or anything similar, but they've been conspicuously silent on microtransactions.

  • Dock fees generally range between $400-$800 a month, and that usually includes water and electricity. I think sewage is extra.

Best way to think about marinas is mobile home parks plus. Most folks there are just normals tryna get by on the cheap. Very occasionally you'll get some landlord or HOA Karen type that thinks their shit doesn't stink, but it always does.

Maintainence is the real killer for the wallet on a boat though. Mobile home units can't sink, so maintaining the home isn't as optional as it would be otherwise. You still get sea gypsies occasionally in floating wrecks anchored just off the docks, but that's everywhere really.

  • Unlimited reproductive rights is also unethical. Unlimited growth is not sustainable in a finite environment. As masters of our environment, it is our moral responsibility to ensure our existence does not destabilize everything else. We've done so poorly as a species that the world is about to undergo a cataclysmic shift.

  • But what if cloud daddy gets mad because your kid showed their hair to the sky?? Or what if someone finds out you didn't ritually mutilate the genitals of your male children??? It could be embarrassing.

On the flip side, culture is something children are specifically in school to learn. I remember one year of high school we had a month where absolutely no bread was allowed on campus because someone bullied a Jewish kid, so we ALL had to be punished. Yknow. Like the nazis punished the jews. We kinda made laws about that, but since kids don't have rights at school, fuck the rest of us I guess.
