  • Yeah, some Lemmy apps and clients are a bit weird when it comes to formatting. I use Raccoon for Lemmy on my phone and it doesn't display superscript, for example, but Lemmy is still relatively young, and I'm sure small things like this will be fixed eventually :3

  • You can use ![](insert link here) to embed images. You can also add an alt text between the square brackets, but you don't have to for it to work.

And yes, it's a very funny image. Snoopy has some great friends! :3

  • More time in the bush would definitely do me good. I took a bag and cleaned up a bit once last year (or the year before that?), and it was a great feeling. That's also how I found what I think is a part of an animal's skull in a dried-up lake, which was pretty cool :3 (the skull part, not the lake being dried up)

  • Being in nature is so cool. I want to spend more time in nature. There is this cool spot near where I live that I should go to again. If only people didn't leave all their trash there (I found a tyre once, and a broken chair :c )

  • I think it's "I recommend it to all Amazon watchers!", but I don't know what Amazon watchers are supposed to be. Also, if that were correct, it'd mean they used b to replace m in "recommend" ("recabed") but g in "Amazon" ("Agazad"), which would be a little inconsistent considering they used d > n and a > o in both words. So it's probably not Amazon, I guess. Maybe a show or something because of the capital A?

edit: after thinking about it for a few more hours, maybe it's a porn site or a euphemism for porn? I don't know any that would translate to "Agazad," but that'd explain the need for a one-hand keyboard.

  • A 4-day workweek would be lovely if monthly salaries stayed the same (= hourly wages went up). Then I could work three days a week and get 75% of a full-time salary instead of just 60%, which would be kind of like a 25% raise. That'd leave me with so much more time to be silly :3

  • Yes, I'm glad they handled it so well, too! tbh signing an employment contract always feels a bit like making a deal with the devil, trading x hours of my life for y money. I don't want to bore you with the details, but for a part-time job while I'm finishing my degree, it's okay :3

  • If you need a rifled barrel to hit your target, you're just a bad shot. Back in my day, we used to shoot cans with our smoothbores from five miles away, in the snow, up a hill, and with 69mph side winds.
