  • No, that cannot be. I was told with great conviction that niche content was nonexistent here in the Verse.

Jokes aside, great summary and thanks for the community plugs! I just recently learned about !soilscience@slrpnk.net

  • I knew inevitably a coder was gonna come along and tell me how to do this like a sane person. Hahaha, yes by hand. I don't know how else to do it. Please, for the love of all things, lay it out for me plainly, cause it did occur to me, but I had no idea where to even begin.

  • Most of the rest of this album, I agree. This song however, sounds nothing like punk rock to me. The lyrics have the right feel. But it sounds like the experimental track that the George Harrison fan in the band wrote while coming down on some psychedelic...which is probably why I love it.

Since it came out I have been playing this song for unknowing listeners, and they never guess The Offspring until Dexter starts singing (and even then it's after multiple guesses).

In another comment, I quoted the wiki article that I pulled the genre from.

  • While most songs are the regular punk rock the band popularized, others such as the Latino-influenced "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)" and the psychedelic "Pay the Man" add variety, "so that there's enough in there so people don't get bored". "Pay the Man" was even left off Ixnay on the Hombre for sounding too different from anything else the band had currently made at that time. The structure of the song more resembles progressive rock (having no repetitive sections and no continuous musical theme).

  • I didn't fully appreciate the amount of work it would take until about 150 songs in, sometime after I realized Jerboa wasn't showing much beyond 6 months ago. Lots of flipping between Firefox and Spotify.

I'm glad you like it! It's a trip to listen to. In making it, I found a few tracks I had planned to post and only a handful of reposts.

What saddens me is all the tracks that aren't on Spotify. Lots of live covers didn't make it. So it goes, I suppose.

  • For every song in it that I've heard and don't like, there's one I hadn't heard before that I now really like. It was quite the experience putting it together. There were some songs I couldn't wait to interrupt with the next track, and others I would add to the queue so I could hear them again.

  • Thank you! I thought it might be handy, so I wanted to share.

Took approximately 12 hours, spread out over a few nights. Took a break every 50 songs or so. Looking forward to daily maintenance rather than trying to find my previous stopping point somewhere in the last 2 years of posts.

  • I sure hope so, Melvin.

Moss also detailed the many threats made against her by Trump supporters, noting that they were told they should “hang for committing treason.” According to Moss, people went to her grandmother’s home and attempted to “burst down the door and conduct a citizen’s arrest of my mom and me.”

    Rolling Stone

One of Giuliani's false accusations included a claim that Moss handed her mother a thumb drive "like they were vials of heroin or cocaine" as the two worked at the State Farm Arena for the Fulton County Board of Elections in 2020. In reality, Moss has said her mother had just handed her a ginger mint.

I hope they nail him to the wall.

  • I love this song more than I can accurately describe. The first time I heard it I played it on repeat for nearly three days. It was on my list to post, I'm glad someone else beat me to it. Cheers!
