  • the options are not in fact committing borderline war crimes or accepting russian rule

and no, dropping cluster bombs are actually the fault of the person dropping cluster bombs

if turning several kids into chunky red paste per russian is just the price youre willing to pay thats one thing, but at least grow a spine and say it with your whole chest instead of shoving off the responsibility on said russians

  • 98% of 13,306 recorded cluster munitions casualties that are registered with Handicap International are civilians, while 27% are children

bombing your own population and its kids to own the russians

  • i mean if it was one guy saying 'nazis' literally is lying

which is besides the point, because saying they platformed nazis because the single-user, non-issue community that no one even noticed except for the person that made a post calling attention to it, on an instance that allows anyone to create a community, was deleted after a day is so ridiculously misrepresentative of reality that its practically a lie anyway

  • and had been for several years before nazism existed, because the swastika is not exclusively a nazi symbol

for instance several chinese religions continue to use the swastika today, ditto for the nepal chamber of commerce, the ahmedabad stock exchange and other organisations

  • no actually, since the conversation is explicitly about conspiracy to commit murder, arguing that any belief in enforcing participation in society constitutes that is explicitly saying that having laws automatically means killing people

you dont actually get to say 'violence' instead of 'murder' in a conversation about murder, and then pretend that you arent talking about murder

unless this is you admitting that communism is not actually a conspiracy to commit murder, in which case cool i agree!

  • being forced to participate in society is called following the laws of the country youre in

am i correctly understanding that you believe that enforcing the law automatically necessitates killing people? thats a pretty scary thing to believe, and in no way indicative of any particular ideology im sure

its also false, considering the continued existence of countries that have abolished the death penalty entirely

on a side note, can you explain why you moved the goal posts from 'communists want to kill everyone' to 'well maybe not all of them but the ones that dont will never succeed' to 'well having laws means killing people'

  • I don’t need someone with different values than my own trying to protect me from some words I might find offensive.

it seems like you have a fundamental issue with instances like sh.itjust.works and would be better off joining a different one, or even better making your own then

  • im not a communist and my explaining how violence is not a literal part of the definition for communism as it is with fascism is not proselytism

is that what you were doing? trying to get folks to join your cult of fascism?

  • because regardless or anecdotes, a communist ideal does not by definition necessitate a conspiracy to commit murder

even if not a single pacifist communist existed, and they do, itd still be totally possible to be both a pacifist and a communist

in contrast, violence is a fundamental part of what makes fascism fascism. a fascist party will never be pacifistic, because it would no longer be fascist

  • fediverse is dealing with a large influx of users thats way bigger than anything theyve had to deal with so far

this coupled with the fact that you can join in on from any of the sites if you are banned from a specific instance means moderation has not been able to keep up

the devs of the various sites are working in improving their teams and tools to better deal with the moderation required, its likely a temporary issue

for now make as much use of the block button as possible, both for specific people and whole communities that seem to exist solely to be assholes

on top of that, beehaw has recently defederated with two of the biggest instances, lemmy.world and shitjustworks, meaning that moderation will probably be able to keep up more again
