  • System76 scheduler for example, or working hybrid GPU setups on laptops thanks to their custom driver.

  • You can also just give it a try, like most of us, but hey, who am I to judge.

  • The person you're referring to doesn't work with them anymore.

  • GrapheneOS or Lineage OS?

  • The context is right there, on the gitlab page. They don't want to merge it because it would mean they have to do actual work and spend time testing it, which instead they'd prefer their customers to complain to them about the vulnerability first before doing any of that. Not my words, but theirs.

  • In my opinion it's a completely different beast. The gameplay is much more fluid and forgiving while still being difficulty, just without all the jank.

  • NewPipe is also a good alternative if you want to cut Google off your data, it doesn't use accounts and instead subscriptions are kept locally on the device.

  • You know, this thing does a bunch of stupid stuff, but this one really confuses me, especially because it's supposed to be a language transformer, and it is usually pretty good at English. I thought you were exaggerating your example, but it turns out to be true.

If you're a comedian, and you lost your job to this, well, maybe it's for the better?

  • The money goes to google, not the creator, but you do you, bub.

  • Install uBlock Origin on PC/phone and you have no ads, for free.

For TVs and Android boxes there's SmartTubeNext (also free), an alternative YouTube front-end with no ads and a lot of cool features you'd only dream of on the standard ad-filled app.

  • Access your data for all websites

    It's required to access iframes.

  • Speznaz, probably. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Plot twist: Both your client and the website use web interfaces. The difference is the client uses Electron Chrome instead of Firefox/chrome browser.

  • You'll get warranty, and if that happens, just start an RMA. Simple as.
