They were such great times for music.

Played the Cure on Spotify and the autoplay has just been fantastic: Radiohead, Portishead, Mazzy Star, the Smiths and whole bunch others and now Billy Idol is singing me off to sleep.

Just saw the news on the AA accident in Washington. 😭

(I have a reli that travels frequently using AA (they’re not on that flight). I feel ill. So awful for all involved.)

Already been too and from work.

Still feel like I’m asleep.

Also for the first time in ages, my alarm woke me in the middle of my dream, which from what I can gather was distressing.

Crap way to start the day.

Lovely rando day despite the heat.

• Two walking laps around the park (usually unheard of)
• Spontaneous brunch within brunch hours (the relief of paying under $30 rather than the $40 I’m paying down the coast, ugh)
• Upside down house at the dead end of town (simple, but surprisingly effective and fun)

I downed a pint of lemon lime bitters. This weather….

Usually I’m an out all day fiend, but I have ridden the loop up through Healesville, Marysville and Reefton and am back.

I didn’t even leave that early. My poor earplugs have died and I am ded, but happy. My mate was right when they said nothing beats it.

Now to do some things in silence. RIP little hairs in ears, I am sorry.
