You could google a dozen articles about men being attacked by women too. Or a person of one race being attacked by a person of another race. This random list of anecdotes proves nothing.

In case you're one of those people, their point is that these exact same arguments you're all making against men have been made against different groups all throughout history and used to justify some genuinely abhorrent behavior. In hindsight, we realize how horrible this behavior was. Most of us try to learn from history, some people just go right back to screeching hate as soon as they can.

When a normal person uses the word female, they aren't typically using it in a way that upsets people.

I would argue that if you did get called out for using the word "female", that's primarily a reflection of the way you were using it.

They didn't call you out for using the word "female", but for what you were saying with it, and instead of doing any actual reflection you just blamed your choice of words.

It's not demeaning. The only people that get upset about it are oversensitive antisocial people on the internet. While "female" is not commonly used in conversation, there's nothing demeaning or improper about it.
