  • Good tip on going into the attic/under the roof. I'll have an attic in this place so maybe that's the best option to run the wires.

I've patched drywall a handful of times. I'm good enough at it that I can get it done it just takes me longer than it should hahaha.

In terms of what I want... It's going to be 2 work from home stations/desks. These won't move. A gaming setup (this is what I want hard wired the most).

But I also want to have a drop in each bedroom - just in case.

  • I think the forerunner 55 is MIP. It's not a smart watch and it's their base level running watch. I had one before I upgraded to the 265 and I loved it. Off the top of my head, I know it gives you sleep data, heart rate, data, stress level data, a HRV, VO2 max. Max. Maybe some other things. Along with the standard steps and Miles moved or kilometers moved.

  • I loved this show for the first couple of seasons, but it's gotten a bit too sappy for me. Some of the quick hit humor seems to have left and been replaced by constant tugging of the heart strings which I've become bored with.

  • Everyone is benefiting and being hurt by decisions made in the past or decisions that they cannot control. These are meaningless statements. They don't cause action, they don't make people feel like they should do something. They just annoy people. The statements are ignorant. You have no idea who I am, what I do, how I live, etc.

So you can also respectfully fuck off as well.

  • I'd go with the duck out early option personally. Showing your face and socializing with others can make a real impact on how your coworkers think about you. They won't remember you left early, but they may remember you didn't go.

Now of course, if you don't care about that, just politely decline the invitation.

  • I think the Lord of the Rings fits your description very well. Especially when you dive into the literature. If you just watch the movies then yes I think it's very corporate. However, if you dive into the literature and you read all the backstory that's associated and this fits for a modern fairy tale. Very very well or a modern legend.
