  • In my opinion, a bumpstock does actually fit the definition of a machine gun, because the user-action to fire multiple shots in a row is one continuous action. Your finger becomes a part of the mechanical function of the gun and the trigger is pressed by pushing the handguard forward.

  • Margot Robbie, I'm beginning to think you're not the real Margot Robbie.

  • I lived in a Republican suburb. While I hate car dependent design, that's what we had. One particular intersection would be backed up for miles during rush hour. What did the city do? Ignore the problem until it became a "traffic emergency" so they could use federal funds to expand the intersection. To assholes the emergency designation is just another tool to get ahead in life.

  • Not that I actually consider the Bible to be an authoritative source on morality (see: slavery), but are those faithful to the original texts? I only ask because it's my understanding that sexuality wasn't viewed as a straight-gay spectrum back then, but instead as a dominate-submissive spectrum. Like, if they were to actually have a problem with same sex acts, it was more to do with messing with the social order than any inherit sexuality problems.

  • Is that the "lay with another man" bit? I'm pretty sure there's arguments over the original text, and scholars think it originally meant "don't have sex with little boys" not don't have sex with men.

  • I only get it from my wife once a week, can you believe that? Only one time! It's unfair! Some of the other guys get it two, three times a week, but me? Nah, just once.

  • Flushable bees!

  • We really gotta regulate the use of that word.

  • Frozen was 3 hours worth of movie jammed into 1 and a half hours. So much stuff happens that either didn't need to happen or needed a lot more setup and motivation. I can understand why little kids liked it, I still have no idea why all the young women liked it too.

  • It's not subtle enough with its critique. Either that or it's not ridiculous enough. It's sitting in the middle zone that just doesn't work well.

  • When's the next movie come out? Barbie is so last year.

  • I want to be able to turn off those silly animations.

  • It limits the accessibility of the information, meaning that both terrorists and freedom fighters will be less likely to find it. YouTube suppresses age restricted material, whether they claim to or not.

  • He fucked himself over with some of the auction houses by trying to set up backroom deal to buy a gun outside of the auction. Understandingly they don't appreciate that sort of thing. Ian has a history of not being a great person, but he's good at hiding it from the public eye.

  • If you're interested in pairing down the functionality of your current phone, the app Freedom can be used to block specific apps for a set amount of time. Self-control is a limited resource, and it takes the need to use willpower out of your hands.

  • Intentional change happens through years of dedicated work and organization. Very few people accidentally improve themselves overnight. Even fewer wake up to discover they've improved society.

  • The cost of the service includes the tip if a tip is expected. The cost would stay the same if you stopped tipping and the establishment raised sticker prices to compensate.

  • Bronze League Baddies in the house!

  • I dunno what to tell you man, there's a pile of good reasons everyone else has switched to metric, and you're too hung up on climbing over the fence to get to the actual greener grass.
